Compared to the guards that came with the Wahl Sr Cordless, these are made with better plastic/nylon, and have closer spacing of the teeth. They lock on just as easily and don't pop off unexpectedly.

Fit perfect to size

These are the best guards. I hate to admit that as I have a somewhat unfavorable opinion of babyliss products on the whole - while they perform I find they don’t last long, they’re finicky and not to mention overpriced. These guards are perhaps a bit overpriced too, at least compared to others, but imo they are totally worth it. They glide easily, attach securely, and they’re super durable too - even the tiny half guard has gone more than a year without losing a tooth. Now if only they came in a color other than gold.
