Eliminate clothing damage while extending the life of your fabrics with these charming Hedgehog Dryer Balls. Because the clean laundry that touches your family’s skin should be free of chemicals, these non-toxic, eco-friendly plastic pals are a natural alternative to dryer sheets and fabric softeners. Plus, they are reusable indefinitely, which saves you money! They won’t tangle your clothes either. Instead, with Hedgehog Pals your towels will be fluffier, diapers and sheets softer, and your clothes will have fewer wrinkles and less static cling. They work by lifting and separating clothing, towels, and linens, increasing the circulation of heat and air through the wet items. They come out super hairy.
I didn't realize these can go in the washer too. We have dogs and the hair is just getting to be to much this spring. Have 2 in the washer and 2 in the dryer. It has cut down on a lot of the hair being drained or dried. They come out super hairy.

Cute but useless
They are super adorable, which I have to keep reminding myself as they knock around with everything from my unmentionables to my blankets. The description says they're a replacement for dryer sheets as they will collect hair, fluff and get rid of static. They do not. The first use was with a set of towels that came out stuck completely together by that same static that I was promised would be tumbled away by these adorable dryer balls. I've even tried using them in tandem with a dryer sheet to try collecting the stray hairs. They come out completely clean every time.My journey to find a champion to combat the need for dryer sheets continues. For it is not you, hedgehog balls. Even if you are cute.

⏰ Cut dryer time down
Although, the hedgehog’s faces didn’t hold up- that’s really not the purpose behind using dryer balls anyhow. Dryer balls are meant make your clothes more quickly. Think large load of wet towels- heavy, wet loads normally take a long time to dry. Using these, however, allows hot air to flow through much more easily, thus cutting drying time down significantly. Particularly, comes in handy for heavier items, such as towels and large blankets. They maybe loud, but well worth it, if you’re looking to cut energy costs, and time spent waiting on clothes to dry.In short...• Cut drying significantly by 1/3 or more• Help to dry large or heavy items (ie towels, blankets)• Noisey buggers, but who cares.• Adorable hedgehog faces will wear off 😶, who cares x’s a billion.

Seems to work well
Bought these to replace the ones that leave fibers all over my clothes. I’ve only used them a few times since my purchase but they seem great. Seem to work well for static, my intended purpose for them. I know they are supposed to be a natural laundry softnener but hopefully not too much because I don’t want my fabrics degraded quicker than average, but we’ll see over time I guess.

Loud and Sticks to Clothes
I've had these for a little over a year now. Bought them because they were cute. These are very LOUD and heavier than others. I always have to close the laundry room door when the dryer is running. The noses of the hedgehogs started coming off after a few months, as well as some of the spikes. I also noticed that every time I dried my lingerie/underwear - that they would still be stuck to the garments and stretching them when the dryer stopped, resulting it stretching the elastic and wearing my lingerie out a lot faster. I've gone back to using the blue Whitmor dryer balls. I don't recommend these.

Wrinkle free clothes forever!
These hedgehog dryer balls ended my relationship with wrinkly clothes that were forgotten about for hours in the dryer. Now I can leave clothes in for hours or even a day and take them out and they will be wrinkle free! Can't say my husband appreciates me leaving them in there for that long - but hey - these do exactly what they say they do. The only problem I have had is that my dog keeps thinking it is a toy for him and running off with one of them! LOL.`

I can’t believe it! They work!
I was hesitant about using dryer balls, thinking “there’s no way they really work”, but quickly changed my tune. The day they arrived, I had a large load of towels ready to launder. Thinking I’d give them a real work out, I put them in with the entire dryer load alone...no softener sheets, nothing but these hedgehog dryer balls. The silly things made a believer out of me. Not only did they leave the towels fluffy and soft, but even without dryer sheets, the towels smelled clean and fresh. I highly recommend this product and am planning on ordering more as gifts. Take a chance...you won’t be sorry!

Liked them until...
They add a little whimsy to doing the laundry, which is nice. I always smile when I put them in. They definitely help my clothes dry faster but they don't get rid of all static cling so towels are often static-y. Also after several uses they got gouges in them in multiple places with the rubber pieces ending up in the lint trap or among the clothes. Also the light in my dryer went out -- not sure if it was a coincidence or if these knocked it out. I'll keep using them until I get a wool set.

Does the job well
These are great little dryer balls. They are thick, not hollow. I've used them a few times since getting them and so far they have maintained their shape.
