Works perfectly (USB-C!) on both Mac computers w/Apple M* chip and Windows laptops......
Got this due to my Mac desktop and laptop having the Apple processor and USB-C ports that do not support many devices, like my Garmin Nuvi GPS using usb to usb-mini cables. No adapter I tried that was advertised as 100% compatible, worked at all w/ my Nuvi. This hub truly mimics the ports it uses and both the usb and usb-c ports, using the appropriate cable on my Garmin, worked perfectly thanks to this hub.It works with my single Windows laptop as well, but, that laptop works fine w/ my GPS using a direct connection to USB-C. It's the Apple products that use a proprietary connection for USB-C that do not support all devices on that port. Google it, it's a known issue that Apple has yet to fix.If you need an all-in-one adapter for your Apple products using the Apple M series processors and w/ USB-C, this is it!I purchased one of these initially for a new Mac Mini M4 PRO and due to it working to well, I've purchased another for use on my other Macs.5 stars all around and saved the day for me!

Makes a great gift
Let me introduce you to the Lemorele USB C Hub Multiport Adapter, a gadget so versatile it feels like the Swiss Army knife of tech accessories (minus the toothpick, of course). This 9-in-1 wonder hub has everything you never knew you needed—seriously, it’s like the magic bag from *Mary Poppins*, but for tech.First off, the Gigabit Ethernet port is a lifesaver if you’re tired of spotty Wi-Fi or just want to feel that sweet, reliable wired connection. The HDMI port? It’s ready to turn your laptop into a full-blown cinema. And with all those USB ports, you can charge, connect, and sync like a tech wizard—no more playing musical chairs with your devices. But let’s keep it real: this thing does get a little warm when it’s working overtime, so maybe don’t try to cook an egg on it. Also, if you’re looking to slim down your travel kit, this hub might add a bit more bulk than some ultra-compact versions. But hey, you’re getting nine ports here, so it’s a fair trade-off.As a gift, this hub is perfect for the tech-savvy friend who’s always complaining about not having enough ports (we all know that person). They’ll thank you every time they connect yet another device. In short, the Lemorele USB C Hub is a powerhouse adapter that covers all your connection needs, all in one sleek package. If you’ve got a modern laptop, this is the ultimate sidekick you never knew you needed.

Customer service has followed up and refunded due to connectivity issues.
Update: Customer service has reached out to me and refunded the amount. The company stands by their product, which is fantastic news for the consumer. They believe the cable had been pinched in the packaging process causing this issue.I'm using this with a thunderbolt port and it's constantly disconnecting my mouse, keyboard and monitor. I'll be typing and the windows disconnect tone chimes in tune with when my keyboard stops working. My monitor will go black and I have to unplug and plug it back in. I no longer use the hub for the monitor and it's still giving me errors with the keyboard and mouse.

Inexpensive, in the wrong way.
It stopped working after just 4 months of use. It worked fine while it lasted and I was quite pleased with it until it just flat out died on me. I thought: "No big deal, I'll just RMA it". I spoke with support and turns out it only comes with a 30-day warranty. I don't understand why a brand new electronic that is not refurbished would only come with a 30-day warranty. On top of that, the warranty policy is hard to see in the description. It seems misleading and suspicious to say the least.Update: Lemorele did the right thing and they reached out asking for more details about what happened to the USB Hub. I provided further details of what happened to it and they determined it was defective so they either offered a replacement or a full refund. I opted for the full refund and I'm quite satisfied with the service provided. I would say do not fear and buy their products. If anything goes wrong, they have the commitment to get things right for you. Thank you! Highly recommended.

NOT RECOMMENDED! Began to FAIL after just a few months!
Bought it because my previous dongle's cable was beginning to fray. This one has more connections, and better layout but lately and unpredictably it randomly disconnects from my Macbook Pro 16" late 2019.I just have ethernet, an external HDMI monitor and a usb c to lightning cable connected to it and sometimes will hook up a usb A thumb drive or some other device. It gets warm during use but not excessively. But I will just be working and for no reason I can define, the laptop's screen will dim and then come back on, suddenly hearing the Apple chime that I'm connecting to power. Even worse, it randomly begins shutting the attached monitor AND the laptop's screen on and off - which is what happens when you connect and disconnect external monitors - wreaking havoc on my work!I tried disconnecting my monitor's HDMI cable to troubleshoot but the connecting on and off kept cycling. And, by the way, the HDMI input is hard to connect to, you really have to push the end of the cable in and getting it out by not pulling the cable is tough!Overall NOT RECOMMENDED!
