WOW!!! It REALLY is an excellent product!!!
I was looking for a simple full length mirror that could hang over the door when I came across this. Our (newly moved into) house is VERY compact, so using an interior door for a mirror is absolutely the best idea, and my jewelry wasn't really all that easy to get to, hence I didn't wear very many pieces. I have never seen anything like this, so a place to store my jewelry and make it accessible is AWESOME!!!I saw some rave reviews about this and a few not so great reviews, so I decided to give it a chance after I checked out other retailers who sell the same (WalMart, etc) but only online, and the cost was a little more through them too.I chose the same color as in the photo--this is the same color as the interior doors of our house. And no, it's not real wood, but it is well-made and looks very nice.It also holds a TON of jewelry. I have bracelets, stud earrings, wire earrings, rings, and lots of necklaces of various lengths. I have found places to hold them all. It has little areas to hook earrings along small "shelves" and if they don't hook one way, you can hook them over the top of the "shelf". Even my big clunky bracelets fit in there--in the "pocket" areas, plus my tiny earrings and backers--all sitting in their little pockets. I can actually see all my jewelry at once--a first for me.The mirror itself hangs on 2 door hooks, which are painted well but are white--and this is the only negative-ish thing I have to say about the whole piece. I don't know what color would have been better, but my current door hooks are all silver. I can live with this. You put the door hooks on yourself with a phillips head screwdriver--5 min max. You can adjust the height at which it hangs a little-there are multiple holes drilled in the hooks so you can choose. I set mine to hang at it's lowest setting, I'm 5'6', and it's perfect. When you're hanging a lot of necklaces, and if they're chunky, they may get in the way of the door closing very well. I noticed this and saw where they were pushing up against the drawer areas, and moved the chunkiest around--and now it closes really well.It isn't all that heavy (I could lift the box it came in very easily) and the door opens and closes normally. It's narrow enough to have another door hook on each side of it for my robe, etc. This has turned out to be a great product for me--almost totally assembled, well-packed so it wasn't broken in shipment, very sturdy and well-thought out design.I am absolutely in love with it!

Great, great purchase...!
Omg, I kid you not when I tell you that I simply love this product! Can't imagine too many of us gals who wouldn't want one of these armoires. If you've amassed a sizeable collection of jewelry over the years and have much of it shoved into boxes and drawers (or just have it strewn all over the place!), displaying your stuff in this cleverly thought-out armoire will finally give order to the chaos (lol!) Go to the trouble of untangling those necklaces so you can hang them...and they will remain tangle-free - hooray! There are 24 hooks for long necklaces, but you can get about 4 on each hook. There are 12 hooks for short necklaces a/o bracelets but, again, you can pack more on the hooks. There are provisions for 50 pair of earrings (100 slots), but with many types of earrings (wire hook and some post), you can totally fit the pair into one slot, instead of taking up 2 slots! It's very easy to hang your earrings: through the hole, sitting in the slot, even a combo of using the hole and the upper rim...anyway, it's all good...!Above the interior mirror (which is a great size, and quite handy!), you have 52 ring slots and 12 wider slots where you can put in things like thin bangles. This area is foamy, so one could conceivably push in the sharp part of, say, a brooch. You have 12 bins, and in those areas, I've put my watches, some pendants, and some larger hoop earrings I couldn't figure out how to put in the earring slots (without them jutting out...)What else can I say? I really, really love seeing my jewelry in order! The quality of this item is very nice - the cherry wood looks good, and matches my other wood very well. I chose to hang it on my door (although you are provided with the option of wall-mounting it). The thin, black, metal door brackets they provide are extremely simple to screw to the back of the case. I hung this on a white door, and didn't like how the black brackets looked in contrast, so I spray-painted the brackets white (million times better!) The exterior full-length mirror is very nice, not warped at all. Also, I want to mention that I put some velcro between the back of the case and the door, as this door is open and shut often.Showed my lovely teenaged nieces this armoire a short while ago - well, it sure does take a lot to impress a teen these days, but, I tell you, they flipped for this thing...FLIPPED! I will be more than pleased to buy this really wonderful item for each of their upcoming birthday ;-)

Good choice for long necklaces!
This cabinet came well packaged, arrived earlier than was initially quoted, and was easy to mount on the bed room wall right out of the box.I wear a lot of long necklaces and this cabinet accommodates them nicely. As other reviews have mentioned, it is difficult to open the door without adding a handle. That is simple enough to do.I don’t own a ton of rings, but I do have a collection of brooches that I stuck into the soft ring area. This worked out well for me. It displays them and keeps them from damage. The earring storage system does not accommodate smaller hoops. I didn’t have problems with Any other styles, such as lever backs, as another reviewer mentioned. If you’re particular, you might be put off by some particle board “shedding” when you first store your earrings in the cabinet. I imagine this is left over from pressing the earring slots in the board-kind of like saw dust. I’d recommend vacuuming over the earring area with a soft brush attachment before adding your jewelry to decrease this. The mirror is nice quality and good size for full view outfit checks. I’m really happy to be able to free up floor space and part with my old jewelry armoire. It’s great that the cabinet puts all of my choices in front of me which I imagine will increase motivation to wear more of a variety of jewelry instead of the same “go to” pieces. I’m very pleased and would recommend it.
