NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Ultimate Shadow Palette, Eyeshadow Palette - Brights

I use this for color guard and it’s so vivid even under the washing stadiums lights! definitely get if you’re a performer or into vivid makeup. It also hasn’t broken at all given the amount of times it’s been dropped, the colors are all intact after a year or two!

These colors pop! Great for every day use, but I really like using the bright colors for costuming. A little bit goes a long way!

This is a beautiful eyeshadow palette

At least in my experience the colors were fairly bright at the beginning but not as saturated as I'd expect. I also had the problem that in comparison to another eyeshadow palette that I have, it went away super fast. I think it lasted me only an hour or two before the color completely started to disappear. So not bad, but honestly not what I was expecting,.

10/10 my favorite palette I own. It doesn’t swatch too pretty, but it’s SO gorgeously pigmented and buildable when applied with a brush. I never remember to use a primer, and occasionally remember concealer (set with powder before shadow), yet it’s still super bright. It blends beautifully, and a little goes a long way. The only thing that caught me by surprise is that they’re not all matte. A couple shades have a bit of shimmer but it’s not overly noticeable, which I prefer since I’m more of a matte person. The media could not be loaded. I am very pleased with this palette. I had a rainbow palette from Revolution Beauty before this, and the shades and pigmentation was terrible (made me sad because I really like Revolution). I decided to give this palette a try since all the colors I needed were there and it was well price.I love it! The pigmentation of these colors is amazing! I've been able to keep experimenting with my Pride Day makeup look thanks to this palette. I'm considering buying more NYX eyeshadow palettes in the future! Blending the colors was also a breeze, you can see the two different variations of the makeup I've done this far with the palette. Buy it!

I have been playing around with this palette for the last week, the only colors I haven't touched are the greens. I was so inspired when I opened up this palette, the colors look so beautiful and laid out into color stories for you. The first thing I don't like about this palette is the mattes with shimmer, there are no true reflective shimmer for the lid, they all turn out looking matte when applied. I find these shades very hard to work with, you have to really pack them on for them to stick to the eye good, I never have this problem, then they are a patchy mess if you can blend them out without blending the color away. The true actual mattes in this palette, which happen to be more of the lighter shades, are so beautiful, pigmented and perform the way you want an eyeshadow to. So with all this being said I had a hard time using this palette on it's own, I had to reach into something else for a popping shimmer and would really only reach for this for the lighter shades. I am happy to own this even tho I wasn't impressed with all the shades, the beautiful lilac and light teal were worth the $12 to me. I think there's better on the market for the price tho.

I love the colors. They are not so overwhelming, but they are strong enough. If you love color on your eyes, you will love this pallet.
