Twine Wood Handle Double HInged Corkscrew, Stainless Steel Wine Key with Foil Cutter

Works great! A little hard to pull the cutter out, but I assume with time it will loosen up a bit.

This is a beautiful inexpensive gift to have on hand. I also have one myself. Friends always take notice of its beauty when opening a bottle of wine. It opens bottle just like a standard wine opener. I hang it in my kitchen, always on hand and always a pleasure to look at.

Not only disappointed in the product, which broke after about 10 uses, but the customer service is non-existent. No satisfaction on a completely trash product whatsoever. When I reached out, they were very quick to respond when trying to blame a third party vendor. However, once I explained that the purchase was direct from their warehouse, nothing. No respinse at all. I reached out multiple times and absolutely nothing. That are a trash company selling a trash product with trash customer service. But from literally anyone else. Very frustrating, disrespectful and fraudulent in claims of quality.

I tried moving it back and forth hundreds of times and lubricating it to no avail. Moving the lever and the worm is a pain and grinds. I bought this as an "upgrade" because my other wine opener started to crack after many years of use. The worm is sharp but doesn't seem to lock in well with the body. The knife works great but is a little awkward to handle. I've since gone back to my old one. A bit disappointed such a nice looking wine key performed so poorly.

I bought this for my son who is restaurant manager and waiter. After trying other quality openers from Amazon he preferred this on because it's not as bulkie to carry in his pocket and it's swings open easily. He has used for two years now. I'm now buying him a backup I found on Amazon that is ~$10 "Country Home Rosewood Double Hinged Corkscrew by Twine" it looks to be the same.

This particular item is flawlessly made in China and it it is very fast and the right stuff for unruly customers. It competes with those made in France and elsewhere, and may in fact be superior at a lower cost.

Out of the box it is a very nice looking wine key. The worm was a little tight so I added a drop of Electric razor oil to the worm hinge and also to the blade hinge. I worked the worm back and forth several times and it loosened up a little. Then I tried to get the blade out. It would not budge. I started to use pliers but stopped. If I can’t get the blade open easily, then this is of no use to me as I need a good wine key for work
