Third dimmer I buy
Definitely recommend. This is the third dimmer I've bought to use with Google Home. The previous brand was NOTSEK but this one is identical in construction, so I'm giving it the same score.A few important notes:1. The default state of the dimmer is "ON". So if you get a power cut, you'll find these dimmers switch back on to full once power is restored. Not great when going on holiday, or if you get a power cut in the middle of the night. If leaving my house for extended periods, I now unplug my three dimmers.2. There is no terminal for an earth wire. However, I've managed to fit a 2x1 connecting block under the cap to connect the earth. Alternatively, you can run the earth wire outside in parallel to the dimmer, but that's pretty ugly.3. Unlike expensive (but not wifi) dimmers, these do not have an induction choke. This means one of my decorative theater lights, when dimmed, emits a high pitched tone. It's hardly noticeable, so won't downgrade the score given the great price point.4. I had a problem with one of the NOTSEK dimmers: after a few months of use, my bulb blew. The surge in current killed the triac in the dimmer. I replaced the dead triac with a better rated 800V one from RS Online. As this FOXNSK has an identical circuit design, it would have blown too. If you're using this dimmer with a bulb well below 300W, rest assured you shouldn't have this problem, but it happened to me because my 300W bulb is at the limit of what this dimmer can handle. All in all, highly recommend, great value for money, and love the simplicity of telling Google that I'm watching TV for Google to dim the lights in the room.

Excellent dimmer option without changing wall light switch
I needed to a dimmer switch for the dining room light but my wall light switch is a triple unit and could not change to a dimmer. I installed the smart dimmer between the outlet and the dining table light. There is no earth wire option, but the switch has room for a small black connector to allow for earth wire to route through internally. I got glued the block connector inside the white plastic casing. The connection to Alexa was initially a bit fiddly but after resetting the switch by a long press and the slow blink LED suggests paring mode - ALEXA found it automatically. Now the dining room light dims. The LED dimming bulb is not that sensitive to changes in voltage, so dimmer only works subtly and only in the lower dimming percentages. It works and just what I needed

Great little dim switch
Well was a tad iffey about this switch having read the reviews but like always I never trust what people say anymore , I still believe it's down to experience and knowing what you are doing, I've managed to wire this into my main bedroom light circuit with no problems, in the smart life app it comes up as dim switch not wall switch like it says in the manual so please be aware of that when pairing with your WiFi. All in all it works great with alexa can change the brightness just by voice control. Would recommend

Just the job!
I have the dimmer wired into my pergola light's and it works flawlessly. Took a little setting up,pressing the button on the device so that you can see/attach to it's own WiFi network via the app and then making sure your own network is on 2.4ghz and has internet. If your used to setting up stuff like this, not a problem, if your not then it may phase you.

Top bit of kit
Top bit of kit, super easy to install. I did take me a couple of attempts to pair with the app. My advice would be: make sure you have the app installed ready to pair when you first power on. Once paired, the app itself is easy to navigate and setup timers/ dimness.
