My braun electric razor broke and i have the braun series 3 foil & cutter (30b) - what other razor will this fit?

Combipack 30B will fit our 7000 and 4000 Series Shavers. These will be all of our 3xx, 1xx, 48xx and 47xx Models. The x's represent numbers, for example, this will fit our 4875, 4715, 310S, 300S, etc.

Is this a wet dry shaver?

The 3000s is fully waterproof FOR CLEANING but is not supposed to be used for wet shaving. That means no shaving cream/gel and no use in the shower. Now, it's possible that Braun simply SAYS that it can't be used for wet shaving because this razor will operate while plugged in, not just when unplugged and using battery power only; and they do that for safety reasons. So could you use it – unplugged, of course – with cream/gel or in the shower? Maybe, but Braun says NO.

Does the top come off to add another accesorie?

The top does come off, but I think there are no accessories to add!!!

Why is the 3000s only dry?

It's "100% waterproof" so maybe it's more effective dry

Why didn’t I buy this earlier.

Forced to write a review after first use. I have been using electric shaver for 9 years. I have tried philips aquatouch (multiple models) shavers till now. Recently purchased this one. I shaved three days beard with this and it felt like breeeeze. At first I was skeptical about the performance but after using this I can guarantee that Braun is way too ahead of philips in terms of shavers. It’s class apart. With Philips shaver, I couldn’t even shave two days beard properly.Special plus point: It takes way lesser time than a Philips aquatouch shaver.All those who are fond of electric shavers must give Braun a try. You won’t regret.Point for improvement : charger sold in India should be compatible with Indian type sockets.
