I buy these ballpoint pens by the fistful because they're the best, smoothest ballpoints *ever*. I've been using a Bic Atlantis pen for quite some time. It finally started to skip and I had a little trouble writing, so I ordered a pack of four. I am so glad they still make them!!! So many times, when I like something, they change it or discontinue it. The gel is soooo smooth! You can't go wrong for the price, folks.

I have used BiC Atlantis retractable pens exclusively for the past couple of decades. I loved them so much that I bought a bunch of them. My supply finally ran out so I had to buy more. Of course I looked for original BiC Atlantis pens and was relieved to find them still available. However, they are not the same as the real originals from years ago. The ink is different. It alternates between blobbing and not flowing at all. I find myself sometimes dabbing the blobs with a tissue and other times having to scribble on a scrap of paper to get the ink flowing again and then rewriting over the parts that were full of gaps from the ink not flowing right. Writing in a journal is supposed to help relieve stress. Instead, with these new pens, I find it very aggravating and I avoid it. Some of the stock I bought this time (the tri-color packs) are not returnable (my fault for not checking before buying, assuming all prime is returnable in 30 days). I assume the one opened pack of blue is also not returnable because it's been opened. It's hardly worth the effort to return the others. Guess I will be changing brands after all these years. Sorry BiC. Wish you'd stuck with the original ink formula.
