This item does not work. Do not buy. There are many "positive" reviews that should be checked out by Amazon as I personally think they are bogus. I got the device, connected okay at first but I could not get past step 4. When looking at the element of the webpage I saw that the "Save Settings" was not able to read the needed password. Also it would lose Ethernet connection a lot when trying to set up via a direct connection to my laptop. I tried everything but the product is not put together well. And Victony doesn't seem to have any products like this. There are no help videos or product manuals beyond the simple quick start guide that came with it. The seller needs to come clean about this obvious faulty knockoff.

For the price this unit worked perfectly for my Internet Protocol cameras with 3 walls and log siding between them and the NVR for the cameras. I placed this 10 feet from the NVR itself and seamlessly this wifi repeater did exactly what it was made to do until it stopped sending out and SSID. No amount of customer service or resetting of the unit worked. Luckily I bought the protection plan but the unit is no longer offered so the protection plan does me no good.

Very slow compared to others! Had to decommission it.

Extremely difficult to understand the instructions. Took me a long time to get it set up. Once I finally did it extended the range but simple Netflix streaming comes in completely blurry. Not to mention we lose the signal constantly as it's incredibly sensitive. Not worth it at all.
