It does the job
After breaking the original frame into three pieces by dropping it, I was pleased to find a replacement frame on Amazon. The first time trying to slide the frame into the razor slot had me thinking the frame tab was a bit large; however, with just a slight bit of pressure, it slides securely into the razor. Both my wife and I noticed that the razor now seemed a bit quieter than with the old frame. The shave is still great and close.

Cuts like new again.
My wife bought me the Norelco 9170XL years ago for Christmas. It gives a great close shave so I was very disappointed when I learned that I could no longer get a replacement head holder from Norelco to fix my shaver. I bought new razors last year which don't shave as close...and then I found this part through some Amazon popup ad. I'm really glad I did not toss my 9170XL...it's cutting great again. Thank you China and Goods-Shopping and Amazon.

Fit like the original!!!!
I was worry about this product because it is coming from china and isn't the brand product, but it fits like the OEM product and it is the only choice in the market today. If need it I'll buy it again.

Lasted 1 year
Worked perfect in my 9195XL for a year. Purchased July, 2017. Plastic tabs that hold the Spring clip hinge in place broke. No longer holds head to clip and therefore to razor. Works great while it lasts. I would not recommend flipping it open each time. I would hold the top with my hand when opening so does not flip against the stop. Might last longer that way.

Old frame holder cracked on a great razor...though a little pricey for a piece of molded plastic, was glad to find a replacement.
