I gave it 4 stars because it only has one bulb. With the single bulb, half the fixture has bright light, the other half is in shadow. My advice is to install the fixture in a way that minimizes the difference between the side with the bulb and the side without the bulb, i.e. install the bulb side facing the direction where you want the most light. I would definitely order this fixture again because it's inexpensive, it works fine and the somewhat marbleized glass shade is attractive and gives off a comfortable light when a soft white bulb is installed.

Fixture is built well and the lumens are great for the area I installed the fixture above. Easily doubled the amount of light in the area for less electricity used...incandescent to LED. The directions for installation though could use some improvement. I'm sure things did not translate from Chinese to English in a manner that was complete. If you have some prior experience with wiring you can fill in the voids and do it yourself like I did. If not, call an electrician to be on the safe side.

I would advise anyone to get good lighting and to purchase a good fixture like this one.

It's a little smaller than I thought it would be and the chain needed shortened but it looks amazing. Nice and bright and couldn't be happier, glad I picked this one.

Bought this as a replacement for the existing dining room light fixture. The old one had only 3 bulbs and they pointed upward at the ceiling—as the only lighting in the room, it was just too dim. It is hard to find a fixture where the lights/globes point downward, while still maintaining something of a traditional/transitional look (we have a colonial and would hate to put a jarring modern light fixture in!). This fixture fit the bill! Upon unpacking, the chandelier itself is nice, but the spray paint job at the factory left a few globs in the narrow parts of the flourishes—had to gently use a small screwdriver to chip it off. The frosted glass globes are very pretty and quite substantial. It holds dimmable LED bulbs and altogether looks great. My major complaint is the chain. Why, oh why, can’t they pre-split two of the links at the factory before painting them??? The paint flakes off the chain so easily when trying to open/close those links, and the very bottom link (that attaches the chandelier to the rest of the chain) is easily visible. No matter how hard we tried or how “soft” our cloth was, there is just **no way** to open and close those links without messing up the paint. Fortunately the chain was quite a bit longer than we needed, and we happened to have some metallic oil-rubbed bronze spray paint left over from a previous project. The actual wiring, attachment of the glass, and so on was very straightforward, and I am pleased with the final effect...just wish the chain had been easier to work with (or painted better).

Great price for a simple, beautiful little light fixture

I purchased 3 of these for my home, one for a new installation and 2 as replacements. One did arrive with the glass globe broken, but Amazon made it super easy to return for replacement (although it took a little over a week to get it). Otherwise, all were in good condition with no scratches and no missing parts.The installations were pretty straightforward; however the instructions that came with them were confusing to say the least. I've installed many of these type fixtures so I didn't have a problem, but if this is your first time, the instructions may leave you scratching your head. Also, the insulation is kind of loose, making it a bit difficult to line up the ceiling mounting screws with the slots, and when you tighten the screws you need to check that no insulation is poking out between the fixture and ceiling. You also want to be careful tightening the screws that hold the globe to the fixture, as it looks like the globe could crack if you crank them down too much.All that said though, these are nice fixtures, and we like the oil-rubbed bronze finish and the decorative globes. It's also nice that it hold 2 bulbs instead of one, this gives you more options to obtain the brightness you need. If not for the things I mentioned above, I would have given this 5 stars.

La pantalla blanca que tiene le permite ofrecer una buena dispersión de luz en áreas pequeñas o medianas. Funciona con bombillas normales o inteligentes.
