Mens Leather Wallet - Traditional (Made in USA by Mr. Lentz) 015

I always try to buy a high quality leather wallet to last years when time arises and I have to say that with Mr. Lentz wallet I don't foresee having to buy another wallet for potentially decades if not a lifetime. This is my second purchase of this wallet as a gift for my father, my original wallet was ordered in 2014 and has developed a beautiful patina and is very supple now. The main highlights of this wallet are;1. The quality of leather is superb, 1/16" thick and incredibly durable2. There is not a stitch anywhere on this wallet. Stitches have always been the failure point of my wallets in the past at the fold point.3. The design of the wallet is very unique allowing plenty of room for all your cards and cash but maintaining a slim profile.4. There is no way for any of your cards to fall out of the wallet when closed.If I ever do need to get a new wallet again I will certainly purchase again and will continue to buy these as gifts for the people whom I care about.

This is a great wallet and the 2nd one I have purchased. It is the perfect mix between minimal form and perfect function. The construction is impeccable and the leather is very high quality. It holds contents very securely and yet has a very slim profile. Only things that could be better in my opinion is that sometimes credit cards shift at an angle once they are broken in. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. Another thing worth mentioning is that if you get the natural color wallet, be careful what pants you wear when breaking it in. I love the color the natural turns to on the website but mine didn't turn out that way and I didn't care much for how it absorbed lots of blacks and blues from my jeans. It still turned out cool overall and feels great, just not what I was expecting color-wise. My next one is the western brown and I am liking how this one is breaking in much better. This is a well designed wallet that would be perfect for yourself or to give as a gift. Highly recommended!

Love this wallet! Well made and solid. It takes a few months, but it ages and darkens nicely over time.When I first got mine it was stiff. It took a couple of weeks for it to soften up, but it did so nicely. The leather will stretch and mold itself to what's in it, and to your pocket. It will also develop a nice patina. The pictures show my "broken in" wallet, and a brand new one with the EXACT SAME stuff in it. I have 6 cards on each side, and some receipts and bills in the main compartment. You can see how the older one has a nice patina and stretched and molded to conform to the contents. It is super supple. The new one is quite stiff by comparison, and you can see how it doesn't close easily. All I did to get it to conform is mash it closed and put it in my back pocket. I'd take it out and rub it and mess with it over the first few weeks until it was broken in. I LOVE this thing!Hopefully these photos and my description will help folks see what they are getting.

Credit cards struggle to fit around fasteners and fall out.

What's good - Really fast delivery - thank you! - Good quality leather.But inner part of the wallet's skin makes a fold once you are closing it and that fold pushing back the wallet. Basically it will be always open, unless it's in your pocket. Not what I expected, especially for this money. Probably I got unlucky and received unsuccessful model - I do not know. But I am disappointed

This wallet is everything a high quality top notch leather wallet should be. It's bullet proof and has a simple, straight forward design. It's beautiful, 4 polished rivets and a flank of cow hide; clean and black.I ordered the chain option, it's worth it, as this is a slim wallet and that leather is smoooth! I've had it for about 3 months now and it has only just recently started to break in. It looks a little better every few weeks as the leather slowly molds to the shape of my lifestyle.The closest comparison I can think of would be to an old 1970s black leather revolver holster, cop style. This wallet is in the same vein in that it's heavy duty, and I imagine even after 30 years it won't look much different than it does now.I went with the black because the natural will really show off any stains and other marks as well as the brown to a lesser degree. I like the clean black look and the polished rivets are very nice.

Seems very well made but is extremely small I didn’t mind paying the high price of this wallet due to the quality of leather and you can tell it’s well made but it’s way to small for the advertised 8 cards plus cash. This could have been a perfect wallet if only bigger. I would like for the manufacture to reach out to me about something larger. Thanks

I got this wallet for my husband who is VERY hard on his wallets. I was looking for something sturdy, leather, made well, and (hopefully) had some longevity. I absolutely found it here. It's perfect. No stitching to worry about, (ALWAYS the first thing to fail) nice leather, the right size and simple. It's perfect. I guess if I had anything negative to say, and I don't, but the numbers are a little distracting... he loves it though and the personalization is a great touch. He told me it will be the last wallet he'll ever need. I love the bright eyes and that grin I get when I nail it! :) Men are so simple to please.
