Nice socks, shipping let down
These socks are super cute. I got them as part of a plant themed birthday gift for my friend who loves plants and the outdoors. They look just like the picture and are soft and not too thick. She loved them.The annoying part was that these socks popped up as I was doing my search for gifts on amazon with a message that said "order within the next 2 hours and it will arrive by Sunday!" I had plans to meet with my friend Monday morning so it was perfect. The socks ended up showing up late afternoon on Monday. And my order was never marked as running late or anything. They basically just changed the arrival time on their own which is a super annoying, misleading and an increasing pattern with Amazon items. I pay for prime for the two day shipping but it seems that the 2 day shipping has increasingly become an estimated 5-7 days for prime items or just a suggestion for Amazon rather than a commitment. Annoying.
