I bought these for the challenge and I wasn't disappointed! I would highly recommend to all
My kiddo is 7 and has tubs FULL of Legos. This is his first introduction into Lego Technic.Usually he can get through a set in less than 30 minutes...this took him a bit longer and he had to actually pay attention to the directions! He did stumble a bit and had to re do it a few times but in the end he was able to successfully build the helicopter both ways.I bought these for the challenge and I wasn't disappointed!I would highly recommend to all!

What you buy to discover a child's potential.
This is what you buy if you wish the mechanics of working machines be inscribed deeply into the unconscious brain of your child. He will be spontaneously knowing how things work when he sees them in real. It even amazes me how he could singlehandedly build it; it always feels well above his capabilities when you look at the instructions.. untill you see it finished.. God! I didn't know my kid is an engineer!

Bought this for my early dementia father-in-law
Bought this for my 80-year-old father-in-law who has early dementia because he has always liked to tinker with mechanical things and automobiles. I thought it would be good mental exercise and engage his hands and mind in coordinated activity. Unfortunately, he didn't really give this a try. Maybe he thought it was too much of a "kid" item. Too bad, really.

My son loves anything lego. He is 6 years old and I buy every lego I can find on sale. He is very engaged while putting these togethers. He's learning to read so this is very exciting for him as he reads the instructions on how to piece them together. He doesn't play with this one as much as the others but he loves it nonetheless.

Not worth the price. Pick a different Lego set.
We have been a fan of Legos for years and have given them as gifts. Compared to the many different Lego sets that we have purchased in the past, this one is not worth the price. It comes in a small box, not much bigger than the many $5 Lego sets. If you give this as a gift, the receiver may think you did not spend more than $10 for it.

I saved this as a gift for my son as a Christmas gift. This set is awesome. ...from the moment he opened it he has been continuously building many different things ,he's in love with it and so am I for keeping him busy. I'm impressed with this set and very satisfied with my purchase.

Pricing is misleading....
I thought this would be a great gift for my 7 year old since he completes the regular Lego sets in no time at all. So, when I saw this for $22 regularly priced at $57, I thought this would be a much bigger kit. But, when it arrived the box was so small I felt I was jipped by paying the $22. Well, my son loves it, but he put it together in less than 20 minutes...
