The keyboard fits properly and works well
Not much to add as the keyboard does just what a keyboard should do. The unit fits the T410 and works well.

It works great and is backlight compatible
I installed this keyboard into my Thinkpad X220. It works great. All the special function keys work. The backlight function works perfectly as well. Thank you.

As good as a genuine Lenovo keyboard. Honest!!!
As an IT professional I love the lenovo keyboards for there soft yet strong feedback key presses (having a little bit of resistance 1st then gives way a bit like pressing on a clutch) and track point mouse pointer. And I can tell you that this one is just as good and feels just as good as a genuine Lenovo keyboard and Track point and track point buttons are equally just as good.Last point, Green Cell keyboards, although cheaper, key presses feel like pressing on a sponge, trackpoint isn't very sensitive and trackpoint button aren't very responsive.

Replace it yourself!
I had spilled coffee on my keyboard, after several days of drying it was clear it was not going to recover! With this virus, it was impossible to get it in to a repair shop. Hated did the idea of having to buy a whole new laptop! I watched a YouTube video and saw how easy it was to replace. So glad I bought this keyboard! In under five minutes I had the old one out,the new one in, and was back in business!

Nice keys, pain to install
Great quality, keys feel very nice and the construction is nice. Not easy to install however, and its more fragile than oem. The first one I bought, I could not get the keyboard to slide down into place. I ended up pulling too hard on some of the keys, causing the plastic holding them in to break. It would not have been enough force to break them on the oem. I contacted Amazon and got a second one, and this one has the same issue. I ended up bending the metal tabs on the bottom of the keyboard, and managed to get it all the way in. However, the clips on the thinkvantage plate broke right off. I took that plate off numerous times on the oem board without issues. I bought this board for a Thinkpad t420, and the keys feel very nice, but installation and fragility are two big issues.Update: Connector ribbon was broken on second keyboard

Cheap junk but gets the jjob done I guess
Trackpoint feels extremely stiff, mouse buttons underneath the trackpoint take a lot of pressing down to register and don't feel nearly as clicky, overall this keyboard feels much cheaper and flimsier than the one that originally came on my T420. Will most likely be returning soon if I can find an OEM replacement.

great replacement
update 09.12.20 - after 16 months, the power button gave out on me with no warning.totally gave my laptop new life! for the longest time, I thought there was something stuck in the keys preventing certain keys from working, but it was because of aging/ faulty circuitry. this was the solution and it’s been working flawlessly for a year now. only took five minutes to install. my only complaint is that there is a slight bulge like it isn’t fitting 100% perfectly but it’s very minor.
