This smaller planter is perfect for smaller, shallow-rooted flowers such as petunias, pansies, or dwarf impatiens. The color matches the photo exactly. Please note that my monitor has been calibrated to show the photo accurately. The enamel colors shade from yellow-green to olive. Planter is lightweight but sturdy; the seams are firm and the edges are rolled. There are no holes for water to escape, so you should include a layer of small stones and pebbles to keep water below the roots, and just water enough to soak the dirt, not fill the pot. if you decide to drill holes and put it in a shallow dish, be aware that the holes may rust out.I bought it for pink and purple petunias. They are going to look lovely against the greens. I will try to add a photo when they bloom.

Lovely container. I had to drill some holes in the bottom, but I still love it.

It is plastic, which I did not realize however it is perfect for my daughters fairy garden! It is a thick plastic with no signs of leaking.

It's small I guess I'm measurement challenged. To small for the price
