So far these are amazing. I ordered the expensive JA HENCKELS INTERNATIONAL knives and they were the worst crap I have ever bought.. must have been fake. These are awesome 👏🏼

I wanted knives with scalloped edges, because the ones I got as a weeding present are like this and they never need sharpening and are still great after many years. (I bought this set as a wedding gift for someone else.) I like that the metal goes all the way through the handle and the blade is wide at the base where it joins the handle, so that if you are pushing on the knife and it slips a bit in your hand your finger will press against a wider mart, not metal that is the same width as the knife blade.I also wanted a set of six instead of four.These knives appear to be very well-made and I expect the recipient to treasure them for many years. They are a great value for the price.

The quality is good, however the blade tears the meat. The blades cutting edges need to be finer as they tear the meat not cut it.After using them for awhile the knifes cut smoothly on the push stroke and tear on the pull stroke. Opposite from a normal steak knife just takes a bit of time to get used to it

Nice solid an dheavy pieces of steak knives.I had unfortanue outcome where I only received 4 out of the 6 knives I bought. I contacted both Amazon and the Manufactuere of the knives. They both reached back to me and solved the issue independant of one another. I thought this was damn near awesome.The manufacture was able to ship me immediately a brand new box without me having to send the old one missing knives in! For that level of support I give them 5 stars.Tip: Get Serrated knives like these if you don't intend to sharpen them over time. Serrated edge means less of the knife hits the plate and wears out. That's why I purchased these.A sharp regular blade will slices better, but at the expense of you having to sharpen it to keep it doing so.

So far I love these steak knives. They have a heavy, quality feel to them and seem to be of excellent quality - especially for the price. I only wish they offered a full flat wear set that matches them. The only thing I don't like is that, like every set of stainless knives I have seen, they expressly tell you not to wash in the dishwasher.

Once again the negative reviews had me concerned. I bought the knives anyway. I'm not disappointed. The knives feel nice in your hand and are sharp. Not sure if I received a better set or if the people who made a negative review were expecting more from a $6 knife. Very Happy with this purchase.....

Great looking knives! So far so good. Should not be cleaned using the dishwasher. I still do not understand why some knives can be cleaned in the dishwasher. my current set, which is not an expensive one, have being cleaned in the dishwasher for years without any problem. I hope this ones are going to last for a long time.

Have developed rust spots and etching. I've been hand washing these! Noted this after the return window closed. Who wants rusted knives?
