The funnel itself is fine, good quality but over priced. It does NOT, however, work with the BX model Bunn Coffee maker so I had to return it.

I wanted a sturdy, old fashioned metal basket for my coffee maker. This is much nicer than the flimsy plastic basket, and I expect it will last a lifetime. Great product

I just bit the bullet and purchased my last coffee brewer. A Bunn commercial unit. This basket replaces the provided plastic basket and works just fine.Pro tip: When removing the used filter after brewing, first, let it cool a bit. Then, grasp at a minimum of three points to prevent spillage of coffee grounds.Pricey, but it's built like a tank and will outlive me.

If you purchase this (and you should if you own a matching Bunn coffee maker), you will also need to procure the Bunn just the tip kit #01031. This little item acts as a governor for the flow rate allowing for a darker, more delicious brew. Maybe it's only psychological that it tastes better than plastic... but it is better than plastic...Sidw note: My bun was not shipped with a spray head and I had to procure one separately. I bought the six hole, 01082 sprayhead. If your bun coffee maker seems to be brewing, very weak coffee very quickly, check to see if you have a sprayhead.

This is the ultimate accessory for that stainless steel brewing system with a plastic filter basket. In my case I have the VP17 coffee maker and wanted to go ‘all out’ and add the stainless brew basket.This is an extremely well made component which slides into the brewer like a hand into a glove. The body is constructed of lightly brushed stainless steel, which matches the body of the VP17, and has a wire basket inside which slightly elevates the filter and coffee grounds for what is presumably a more even brewing process. The only plastic part is the handle, which is extremely heavy duty, easy on the hand, and keeps the user well insulated from the heated water and used grounds.Be sure to search using a few strategies to get the best pricing (Bunn s/s filter basket, Part 20216, Splashguard, etc) as I discovered a wide pricing envelope for the same item ($35 to $80). Obviously one would prefer the lower of those options, considering it is in fact, for the exact same product.So what’s left to consider? Oh yeah, the looks. Well this is the crowing addition to an already impressive piece of hardware, which is the Bunn coffee maker. Converting the stock plastic basket to this stainless model is an addition which I’m totally satisfied with. Impervious to warping and corrosion, this item makes the coffee maker even more durable, and attractive. Keep coffee brewing painless, by completely going stainless.

Well designed stainless steel construction was what I needed for coffee making! Wish all coffee making products used these quality materials. MAKE SURE to order the little matching stainless steel “funnel kit” piece that screws on the bottom - keeps coffee from pouring out of basket too rapidly, and improves brew quality. Really - that is just a little screw nut looking thing that is sold separately, but makes a big difference.
