Very cute cake pan
This cake pan is perfect for all pokemon fans, we used yellow cake mix so we did not need to use yellow frosting, we just decorated face and ears and it was perfect. I am not gonna lie, it was not super easy and the picture includes our second try (you don’t want to see the first one), so, if you are going to use it make sure to follow the instructions in the back of the box and prepare the pan so the cake doesn’t stick and brake when you take it out.

Pika! Pika! Very Happy Birthday Boy
Worked out just great! Needed lots of extra baking time, so watch it closely. The ears and tail were very weak, so before I moved it from the cooling rack, I covered it in ganache and put it in the freezer for a few hours before covering in fondant. It was solid enough out of the freezer to move easily with no breakage.

Loved the shape, not sure about the material...
I find baking with silicon molds to be hit or miss in general, and it took a bit of trial and error to get this one right. You will need to bake the body longer than the ears and tail so make sure you pay attention to the baking instructions on the box. It's tricky to get it perfect but once the icing is on, the kids won't care. Pikachu will be a hit no matter what.

Small, but Cute
Very small...so I placed it on another cake. But, my son loved it (even if I got the ears wrong) Note: you have to bake at a very low temperature and add tail and ears while baking.

Worked like it's supposed to; kind of small.
Worked well. Used box cake mix and nonstick spray "for baking". Set oven to 325 instead of 350 as directions state. Baked for 18 mins then filled the rest of the way and it took about 20 more mins. My only complaint us that it's on the small side. Could probably get 10 pieces out of it so I also baked a sheet cake and put Pikachu on top. My son will LOVE it tomorrow!

Awesome first birthday Pikachu party
I thought for the price of the pan alone, I wasn't going to find a Pikachu cake any cheaper than I could make it. It was fun! The pan instructions said to lower the baking temp of the cake recipe by 25 degrees (so you don't end up with a tan or burnt Pikachu) and bake the body part first, then use remainder of cake batter to fill ears and tail when baking was 3/4 way done. I painted on black food coloring for the eyes and tail (I also did the claws but didn't like how they turned out). I used red food coloring for the cheeks. My cake recipe was a standard yellow cake from scratch outta my red and white checkered cook book. The cake was fully cooked and we had us a happy first birthday party.

Doesn’t bake a good cake
Our son wanted a Pikachu cake for his birthday and this seemed like a great option make that happen. When it comes time to actually bake the cake, the directions seem to intentionally omit how much time to cook the body (before filling the ears and tail), we kept looking it must say how much of the original time to bake or some hint, but it is just silent on that amount of time. We gave it some time after testing with a toothpick and then added the ears/tails but the end result was a dry cake which broke at the ears and tail. If you are good at frosting a cake this may be a good choice since it can cover up the end result but is overall very small. If you do not have expert frosting skills the details of it being Pikachu will probably be lost, we didn’t even bother since it was clear it would not look right after frosting. We were able to make 7 regular cupcakes from a box cake mix after the cake mold (it is small).I should have been more suspicious of all the 5 star reviews with frosted cakes as included pictures...
