Look no further!
I spent hours reading reviews for a wagon for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter, and I picked the right one! First of all, I put this together myself, no help... the only suggestion would be when putting the top on, insert the 4 pieces into the roof, then attach it to the wagon. MUCH easier! This wagon is sturdy, and I love the hard top. Living on the beach, this was a big plus. The wind can't blow it off, and the rain can't get through. And, you can put 2 cups and your keys, etc in the roof. So when your phone rings, you can hear it. The wagon also has 2 cup holders which my granddaughter used right away to put snacks and drinks in. We took the wagon 2 1/2 miles to the grocery store and I used it to haul back a 12 pack of beer, 2 bags of groceries, and some swim toys.I cannot tell you how many comments and compliments I received. Kids riding by on bikes told me they wanted it, adults said they wish they could ride it, I had stares and heard people say, "that's so cool, did you see the cup holders".I read reviews that it was loud. It does make noise since the wheels are plastic, not rubber. But we had no trouble holding a conversation. It didn't bother me at all.We also used this wagon to haul our beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc to the beach. We parked it next to our umbrellas and used it to hold things like our phones. There are 2 holes on the floor of the wagon which makes clean up easy. Can't say enough about this wagon. It is probably the best purchase I've made on Amazon.

Great Sturdy Wagon
Purchased this to take my 1.5 year old grandson to the park. He absolutely loves it and I do TOO! At first I was a little concerned about the handle height (being I'm 5 ft.) and my husband (6 ft.) - the angle and pivots of the handle is perfect for both of us.Putting the wagon together was extremely easy, everything just snaps right into place. The little plastic snaps that cover the wheel attachments go in easy and do not break "IF" you use the tool included and DO NOT POUND them down hard. The roof is secure and doesn't come off/apart easily once you have it snapped into place properly. The hidden compartment under the seat is perfect for a few snacks to bring along, and with two cup holders (great for bringing drinks) and a small compartment built into the roof I can tuck my mobile and keys away out of sight. My grandson always sits in the rear and he puts all the toys he wants to bring in the front seat - trust me we load the wagon up pretty good; and he still has plenty of room.PS - I marked this as educational because it is IMHO. I'm able to teach my grandson about nature and adventures, trips to playgrounds, etc. Our children/grandchildren are a last dying breed of those of the technology world that know what its like to be outside playing.

The best option, but maybe not as durable as it looks?
I'll have to update this review later, since we've just received the wagon in the last week or so.In other words, this review is about first impressions & experiences, for now.My purchase was directly from and filled by Amazon, and I chose the Free Super Save Shipping.I can't speak for other sellers or sites, but if you choose the same option, it will arrive in the actual product box like many large items, with the shipping label on it.No big deal, but worth mentioning if you'll have it delivered for a gift or surprise. It's big and on your porch, and clearly the Wagon, so just know that.Keep in mind I chose Free Super Saver Shipping.UPS delivered the item. I wish I had looked into that. It's not abnormal for heavier items to come UPS, and I'm not putting Amazon down.I only mention it because I've had many damaged box (therefore, usually the ITEM, as well.) issues as a seller, as a buyer, and even observed at my husband's place business.I quit using UPS as a service 3 years ago to save my sales, and my husband's business is about to shut their account down for the same issue. These are different delivery store locations. I'm serviced by Hernando, MS, and their work has deliveries and pickups come from a Memphis, TN location. My items go from MEMPHIS (4 minutes away) to Jackson, MS (3 hours away), and then back to Hernando (10 minutes away) for delivery, HAHA!If you have a Memphis zip code, it goes through totally different sorting facilities. My point is, this isn't an issue with one UPS location- but if you had had a few deliveries, you should know if yours usually arrives safely.(Sorry for that indirect topic, but it's important to me, and maybe you.)It took a bit longer than I expected to get it, but that's fine. It's a BIG BOX, and I chose the Free option. When it arrived, I heard a CHUNK on the porch, and 2 bangs on the door.By the time I opened it 15 seconds later, the driver was already hopping in the truck, cell phone propped on shoulder. She was in a hurry!I wish I had been able to catch her.Perhaps she knew that throwing it under the window unit (in other words, THE ONLY wet area on the porch, 6 feet from the door...)wouldn't go over well. Maybe, but probably also because the box looked like an accordion on one side.I opened it and saw daylight through the package. The instruction book was wet (no big deal) and I could see daylight through both sides of the package.I was immediately frustrated, but only because I've had damage before on things I didn't think could BE destroyed through a sturdy BOX. I'm trying to say that they could break the contents if they were a bag of cotton.Anyway, when I saw that the sides of the wagon itself was scratched, I was irritated, but after accounting for all pieces needed to assembled, I sat it on my bed to be put together later, and gave my daughter the box.Kids LOVE boxes. This one comes with windows already, so they'll need to be into pretending it's a home or car. Or they can pretend they're going through a shredder-or a car scruncher! The possibilities are endless. Thanks, UPS!Inside the box, it looks like it's gonna be easy steps: There's a bag with your smaller stuff and seatbelts, the wagon, the instructions, and the canopy. Under the canopy, the stickers that go on it are secured with tape. Careful, don't rip! Some of the silver rod...thingies...that you need, are already on the wagon. My husband appreciated that. He was sure they hadn't been sent until we turned it upside down and saw them, LOL.I thought I'd only need a hammer, but you do need the Hammer, a Screwdriver, and a wrench? Also, it showed a drill as optional. (I'm sorry I can only find one page of the instructions, and this one doesn't include the tools needed, so this may NOT be all that's needed!)There are a lot of pieces that snap in which is nice. My 10 year old daughter helped my husband put it together and they only got flustered once when they lost a little tiny piece for a minute, and once when my husband realized he'd started putting the wheels on backwards, ha ha!Not bad. I know I could've easily assembled it myself, but I have a wrist/hand injury, so when something needs to be hit with a hammer, that's his area now.The instructions are clear and there are pictures with each step.Once it was completely together, they added the canopy. That's when we saw that the only DAMAGE wasn't the wagon scratches. One side of the canopy was completely dented in along the entire length.I was so mad- and I'm still mad.I'm mad at myself for not looking before it was completely put together (you're not going to take those caps off and return it at that point. I don't even think you can without breaking them.) and I'm mad that UPS is such a special kind of careless that they managed to damage something made to be used by toddlers and preschoolers.I did a packaging feedback report on Amazon and wrote UPS, but I'm not about to deal with their claims department or blame Amazon.I gave myself a little bit to be mad, and then I brushed it off as a lesson learned (see what method is being used to ship) and told myself some kid probably would've found a way to dent it in within a week anyway. And it still does its job, so whatever.I guess now that it's damaged, it'll fit right in here, lol.I wanted to write my initial review on here because of what happened, and also to point out something about the canopy:it's actually quite a bit thinner than it looks in the photos/videos. I don't want to use the word flimsy, but it does look less "durable".That does not mean it is.I once saw UPS manage to break a pair of toddler dress up plastic heels in half- and they were wrapped tightly in bubble wrap in THEIR box. So, not fair to think it's flimsy because they hold company kickball tournaments with your shipments.Regardless, it IS the most durable one on the market.I don't know about you, but I looked and compared for months, and this was the only hard surface canopy wagon I found.I'm not about to trust my kids, UPS, or myself with fabric!Like many others said, having a door would make it PERFECT. It is more difficult to get a younger child in and out without one, but when I use it in public, I think I'll be buckling her in before snapping the canopy top back on, so it shouldn't be a big deal.Still, my older kids had this same brand (held up GREAT) wagon without a canopy years ago, with a door. Man they loved that dang door...I'm SUPER PUMPED about being able to keep my keys and DRINK (and the angels sing!!!!!) out of sight from my 1 year old, while being able to keep hers down within her reach. But she'll probably throw it out a million times, so hooray for an EXTRA cup holder up top!!!FYI: Some sippy cups may not work in the bottom. I'm NOT positive yet, but just observing it, I'm not sure if my Gerbers will fit, or the kind with the low handles. Maybe. Since the two are right beside each other and have a gap in between, I think you could fit ONE if you let the handle kind of sit in that gap. I hope that makes sense.I measured my trunk before I ordered this, so even though I haven't used it off our road yet, I know it will fit.I mentioned before I have a wrist/hand injury.Pulling and pushing, pressure, gripping-what you DO with hands- causes me a LOT of pain. With this wagon, I can pull or I can tuck the handle and push it forward from the canopy top. This is a big deal for me.I've had no trouble pulling it or maneuvering it with my good hand- which is my left, and I'm not a lefty. It's light and easy.Pushing is even better at her young age, perhaps, because I can watch her while I walk. When we put her in it the first time, and every time since, to walk the neighborhood, she is completely still, completely silent. She is in HEAVEN.So no matter what happens, I do believe we're going to be very, very happy. She's past the age of WANTING to sit in the stroller, but not past the age, so this is perfect. And she feels like a big kid, so she's content to be in the wagon.I'm going to return and update this after we've taken a trip to the zoo.I'll add in how easy it was to get in and out, how the sippy cups fit, etc.For now though, I'm so excited and happy. Even if UPS is a big brown turd.

I love this Wagon
I love this Wagon. Step 2 products are great, and this is our third big item to get from Step 2. It's so much more affordable and the quality is awesome. THe handle folds all the way under which makes it easy to load up the car. The top and the posts pop off easily, but won't pop off while you are using it easily. There are cup holders on the top, safety belts, and one bench seat lifts up to store snacks. There are drink holders inside the wagon for the kids too. There is also a small box on top that lifts up to hold a phone, or keys. I compared a lot of wagons before buying this. I love how much sun protection this one provided and seemed more durable than pricier brands. I am SO pleased with this purchase. Also, the wheels are a great quality to, and make it easy to steer. They don't look very heavy duty in the picture, but I find them to be. We have a 1 and a 2 year old, so a great wagon was a must!

They wagon it's easy to put together. And strong. Drives easy and the most important thing, it's that feels safe to put the kids in for a ride. We are happy with the product. We think that the only thing missing is a door, for easy access. I would absolutely recommend this wagon.

Step2 Canopy Wagon
I bought the Step 2 Canopy Wagon for my daughter's children. My grandchildren in the U.K. are 3 & 1 years old, with another sibling on the way. My daughter said the wagon was fairly easy to put together. The children just love it and so do the parents. It is especially helpful when they go to the park / zoo, but the children use it outdoors at home also. I'm sure they'll get many good years of use from this wagon. Well worth the cost and investment for them.
