Easy assembly
I’m 62 years old and put this together by myself, except for getting my husband to help lift the top piece into place. Easy to follow instructions. Haven’t tried out yet, but everything lit well. There were a few dents and scratches. The box looked fine, so am thinking they happened before shipment and not from it. I don’t understand the review that said you can’t get the drip pan out as that’s not a problem. When installing the side shelves, leave the top screws a little loose until the bottom bolts line up. I had to loosen them and then retighten.

Hard to assemble but works great
It was difficult to put together. The electric starter does not work. The rest of it is fantastic. It cooks well.

The diagrams do not show enough detail, so make sure you read two or three steps ahead to get everything screwed right initially
It looks like a nice grill. Don't believe the 50 minute assembly time. It is more like 5-6 hours! The instructions are minimal and would be ok IF the diagrams were detailed enough to show things like which way to insert battery, getting the burner installed the correct way so that the dot on the knob is facing upwards, tips on which way things go so that one does not have to put this together twice to get it right! One burner shield came bent that the bottom door is warped, so hopping to get them to adjust those things. The first one I ordered got sent back by UPS before it arrived. I assume it got damaged in transport (it is heavy and yes the 2nd box showed trauma.) On a reorder, it arrived when they said it would.

Worth the price!
I have read the other reviews that some have written and nothing was dinged or dented when we took it out of the box considering the delivery driver put it wrong end up when he dropped it off ...The assembly only took about an hour and a half for two people to put together, the directions were pretty straightforward. So far it seems to be a pretty nice grill, We have not cooked on it yet but it does seem to get very hot and there is an abundance of room to cook whatever you would like on this grill! We are very excited to use it tonight and for the money I spent I have to say I am pretty happy with it so far!

Great grill considering the price
I am using this as a back-up grill to a bigger charcoal grill that I have. This thing is great and I am surprised. Propane grills are apparently super easy to set-up and clean up compared to charcoal. This thing has works great. Only small things I have on feedback is that I wish the top rack were bigger to accommodate more food, and the grill gets super hot super quick. When I did my first round of food it burned the food. So I cooked the next week all on low and the food came out fine. I'll probably cook mostly on low going forward. But, I would highly recommend. The assembling was pretty easy and straight forward as well.

It will get you by but dont expect it to compete with a Weber
It was one of the easier grills to assemble. But box arrived in a beat up state. The main body was dented on the side and it was all shifted to a diamond shape instead of a rectangle. The temperature gauge has no nut to hold it in place so it fall out ever time you open the hood. The holes under the side burner were not in the correct place for the corresponding screws. A step was left out of the instructions. I feel I am not completely mechanically handicap so I figured these things out and got it together. It looks good after it's all together. I hope it works well once I actually get to use it. But at the moment I cant help to feel "you get what you pay for". I still like to give things a try. And I'm optimistic to hope the cooking quality will exceed my expectations.

Was expecting less, was pleasantly surprised
No grill under $500 will be perfect. That said, I was surprised at how easily this grill came together. No bent parts, no misaligned holes, no missing pieces. The grill does not heat up as fast, or as hot as my older grill (525F seems to be the max). Don't know why.But the heat is more evenly distributed than I am used to for a "cheaper" grill. So, for instance, cooking steaks is easier. My grill is 4 months old. If it lasts 4 years, I will be the same one. And so far, I think it will last!

Great customer service! YOU'LL NEED IT.
I've had this grill for 4 months as of August 2018. It's a pretty terrible grill. The metal is thin, the construction is a bit wobbly, and the design isn't the greatest - I could forgive some of this if it wasn't for faults...I've had several grills, this is my 4th gas grill. I've also owned a smoker and a couple charcoal grills. This was my first Royal Gourmet branded one. It's been 4 months and the panels are starting to rust at the edges. The main grill grates are starting to deteriorate and have rust in the corners. 3 of the 6 burners won't lite with the push button. When I first got the grill, 2 of the burners wouldn't even light with a match. I've had customer service send me numerous burners, and a replacement grate, and a thermometer, and a new knob. I'm getting tired of calling.I previously had a NexGrill which lasted 6 years. Before that, a Char-Broil which I got about 5 years out of. This one is 4 months, and I'm doubting it will last until next summer. In the 4 months that I've had it, I've only put through one tank of propane, just put the second one in. The temperature is VERY low on this grill. Too many burners, not enough gas flow to really heat this all up. The searing burner is alright, no complaints, it's the only one that gets hot enough.Full disclosure - I've never tried the side burner. For all I know, it could be AWESOME. The rest of the grill is aging fast, so I'm going to stay clear of Royal Gourmet products, and probably go back to NexGrill. I mainly bought this b/c of the large cook area. I wanted a smaller more robust grill, but my wife convinced me that we would need more cooking area so I got this. Not thrilled with it.UPDATE: It's been almost 1 year to the day. I have since uncovered the grill and got it ready for the new year! What's new you ask? The wheels on the bottom are almost completely rusted out where they join the frame. The gas pressure regulator needed replacing. The stainless steel is very 'stainless'. At this point, I don't even use the igniter, I just go out with a lighter every time.
