What can I say? Its a battery. It fit, and it works. I've seen some reviews where this was not the case, so it that sense I'm happy. But really, if I went to Walmart and bought some AA batteries, what should I or anyone expect?? It fits and it works.

Gotta be honest - it was more a science project to see if the Nook actually still worked. Probably wasn't worth the cost, for me - I haven't even picked it up in years, it's no longer supported, you can only put free/unencrypted books on it... but this battery certainly works.

First off I don't blame the battery for the Nook not starting up, I blame the manufacturing process for overlooking a minor issue. Yes, the battery is the center of the issue but not the cause of the issue. I do recommend replacing the factory battery as they never seem to be as good as the replacements, in my opinion from buying replacements for other devices and being happier afterwards. The problem with the Nook is the battery compartment! Yes, the battery fits into the compartment, in fact it fits in rather easy. This is the real problem! There is no pressure put against the battery to make full contact with the Nook prongs. I just put a small paper wedge behind the battery to push the contacts tighter together and Voila! The Nook turned on and began updating the data the was very outdated from never being able to be updated. A good fresh battery and a tiny wedge fixed the issue!

It's one screw after you remove the shell (can use your fingernails for that). I used this on a Rev A (the first with a SIM card) and it also fit the Rev B (the one with SIM card absent). Brought new life to my well loved Nook(s)
