Orbi 750 glitches
I have successfully setup three Orbi mesh router systems and the latest Orbi 750LTE does not support "anywhere access"!! I have loaded updates and defaulted to the back to Factory settings and anywhere doesn't initiate or runs for 3-4 hours and then loses remoted access while still operating in WIFI mode.I've invested nearly six hours trouble shooting and then two more hours with Netgear India CSR which yielded no correction. We will return as defective product.

For the price, it should do more
For $1,100, this should have a more robust firmware and interface. It should offer features like Band Locking and Carrier Aggregation

Horrible experience- no good on Tmobile
Unit is marketed to work best on Tmobile, this was not the case. I failed to setup on Tmobile home internet, after calling:Net gearTmobileAmazonI discovered Netgear has a 50gb max usage block on unit, so it’s basically a hotspot. I’m returning 🥲

Capable out of the box, but even better with full control
Coming from the 4G LBR20 model this is definitely a nice upgrade. The only real downside is the crazy MSRP (eleven hundred bucks) and Netgear's refusal to sell this without a satellite (which would help bring down the cost a good bit, IMHO). That being said it is very nice that Netgear includes the option to set the TTL on the cellular WAN (at least on the initial release of the OEM firmware) which makes the device work with a good deal more unlimited data plans out of the box without having to mod it (unlike the LBR20 which requires setting iptables rules manually in the CLI for this). This unit is even more capable with command line access to further bend its modem to your will. Unfortunately, Netgear has made it harder and harder to access the CLI on most of their new firmware including the NBR750. Fortunately, there are still some ways to get access. If you google '5G Orbi Megathread' you will find what you need in this regard in the Wireless Joint forums :)Overall, this new 5G Orbi is a great improvement over the 4G LBR20 unit. The only real downside right now is the price. Since this unit is using a wholesale-priced, commodity modem in a m.2 slot (Quectel RM502Q-AE), it really should not cost this much. A price drop of at least 40% (easily achieved by giving the ability to purchase the NBR750 router unit by itself without bundling the satellite) would make this a much more attractive option.
