3/10 shock; fast, sturdy, GREAT FOR COLLEGE. Good weight. Comfortable to ride
Le New UPDATE 6/2020 : it’s been almost 2 years and I haven’t had to replace any parts! This has been a wonderful investment. Excellent product! I highly recommend ! Shock proof and I am able to hang my backpack w/laptop and books/hydro and lunch box on the handles without a problem (total 200+lbs) ! I’ve ate s^*# a couple times because I was not paying attention haha nonetheless, le scooter is still intact &in great condition. Easy to carry around and store away. After all it’s been through, the paint/aesthetics looks new too.——-*old Update* still 5 stars ! It’s been over a year since I purchased the scooter and it is still in excellent condition ! I use it 5 days a week; It’s sturdy and fortunately, there has been no need to replace or fix anything. The scooter is intact !____________I bought this scooter so I can make my way around campus much quicker. After doing extensive research on various other scooters, I chose this one because I felt that it would last me longer, have less shock, and not give me too much trouble with replacing parts when needed. HUDORA has a good reputation and more positive reviews than other ones I searched for with a similar price range. So far, HANDS DOWN I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!! It is sturdy and there is hardly any shock (funky vibration in your hands) when riding. Although, I try to avoid cracked/damaged asphalt so I don't wear out the wheels too soon or bust my a** lol, but other than that the ride is smooth on sidewalks and most asphalt surfaces. I was afraid I would need a helmet or elbow pads since it has been over ten years since I have used a scooter, and Honestly, I feel comfortable riding without that extra protection. There is sufficient space for both of my feet on the board (women's size 8). I like how the height of the handlebars can be adjusted. I received the scooter as shown in the pictures. I feel cool riding through campus haha. I wish I bought one sooner; it is worth the investment. Excellent quality.

especially in busy big cities (Most people are not going super fast). I actually can go into a restaurant ...
This scooter was everything it advertised. I got mine September 3, 2017. I ride mine in a major downtown city at least 4 days a week. So although I haven't been logging miles, the scooter is doing very well. I haven't replaced the bearings either and it still does very well. Cheaper than a bike but more compact. Now, you usually are not going to be able to go as fast as bikes (once it was so windy I had to get off the scooter and walk) but on most days you can keep up with bikes, especially in busy big cities (Most people are not going super fast). I actually can go into a restaurant and fold it up and place it next to or under the table. You can't do that even with a fold able bike. Also, I am a full grown adult male who weighs about 200lbs. I chose this scooter because unlike every other scooter in this price point, this scooter can HOLD UP TO 264.5 LBS. So even with a full backpack, bigger dudes can still ride this and not have to spend $400 on the top of the line scooter that holds 400 lbs.If you are a bigger person looking for a cheaper scooter that is awesome, this is my pick.. If it breaks I would get another one.

Great for bigger Adults and commutters
I used this as a commuter scooter from train stop to office. It is easy to fold and carry. Adjustable handle bar is easy to adjust. Well built. I am large adult weighing 235lbs. so this was perfect since it is rated for bigger adults. The kick stand is great. Best of all--ironically the fact that it does NOT have shock absorbers it actually better. I've had scooters with shock observers and they tend to scrape in the bottom more in bumps or uneven pavement--this was does not. The fact that it does not have a hand break is better too--less added weight. The back break is plenty enough and the best way to stop as an adult is to jump off.

Great Scooter
Got this scooter from Amazon Warehouse Deals for a great price. The larger wheels give a smoother ride than other scooters. The only criticism I would have is that it's a bit on the heavy side.

Great value and Experience
I've had this now several months. I have used it around the neighborhood and at work (to kick around the office, get to nearby restaurants. Well constructed, comfortable to ride, love the kickstand. The brake works well. Folds up nicely and quickly (not hard to do at all). I store it in my car trunk and break it out each morning and put it back after work. The only downside (and this really isn't a big deal), is that rides pretty low to the ground (partly because of kickstand) and bottoms out on any non-flat surface (curbs, etc).

Smooth roads ONLY
This ONLY works on VERY smooth roads. Even most sidewalks are too bumpy. The lack of suspension sucks. I only use this to walk beside and carry my backpack and a speaker on and it still bounces all over fairly violently and uncomfortably if there's the least bit of a bump. If you have smooth roads this is a 4 or 5. If you have even slightly bumpy roads it's a 2 or less. It's also large enough to be difficult to carry into a store or restaurant, making the folding kind of impractical except for storage. It's true that a fatter person can ride it but the super-narrow handlebars would likely make it a wobbly experience for them. If you're large you'd be better off buying one of those kickscooters with a full sized bicycle tire front wheel and bicycle style handlebars.

Excellent Scooter perfectly sized for adults. High quality build
This is what an adult scooter should look like. Smooth ride. Smart design. Made to last. Now if I can just get an electric version like this . . . . I did consider an electric scooter, but that seemed unfair to my kids, who just got two new kick-scooters. It's more fun if we all have the same sort of mobility. And, if I had an electric, they would never want to use their own scooters again! So, we have a lot of fun going on scooter adventures around town, finding as many downhill roads as we can and then jumping on public transportation or calling Uber to gets back home after a long day of scootering! (We live on a mountain). Fun! You won't regret getting this, if you're looking for a human-powered scooter.

Wanted to use it for a good time before writing a review on it
Wanted to use it for a good time before writing a review on it. This scooter is great! It is a bit pricey but very worth it! I live in Hollywood, LA, and it's known to have just terrible sidewalks and just roads in general. I use this scooter every day to go to school and it holds up very well and makes it a smooth ride. Recommend it!

So disappointed- could have gotten seriously injured!
I did a lot of research before settling on this scooter.Fun scooter to use just to mess around on as long as there is no bumps in the road. However my first morning trying to use it to get myself to work, everything Went fine when going there- but on the way back the thing that clicks the handlebars when you push it up collapsed on me mid-stride and I fell in front of the car.Luckily I wasn’t hurt but it was a really close call.I’ve read before that the handlebars didn’t feel steady, And I didn’t understand what that meant until today.I’m so disappointed because I really loved it and was so excited to start scooting to work every day. It was fun also... Just not worth the risk.Very heavy to carry around also- that part wouldn’t click for me anymore I couldn’t carry around without the whole thing opening up again so that Added insult to injury.I Had to return it. Hoping another brand won’t let me down.

The best from hudora!
I have owned 3 big wheel different scooters from the german company hudora and by far this is their best yet! I started out with the Big wheel 205 which was good but a little noisy on the paths, then eventually the brakes wore out so i had to order a new one from their service store. Not long after that it broke down conpletely after a year of owning the scooter so i upgraded to an RX-Pro 205. That had a lower foot board and was a smoother ride than the 205 but same again, the brakes wore out and it broke apart after a year, however hudora stoooed shipping outside of Germany. Now i own this one and the brakes are far better! The scooter itself is more sturdy as i ride quite long distances to work, etc, the handles have a nicer feel and the 230 wheel at the front with 205 wheel (diameter) at the back makes you go faster! The kick stand at the bottom is much better too and it comes attached with a bell, so i gave my brother my old one for his scooter. My engineering faculty seem mesmerised by my new one i have to admit!

Good scooter but head stem nuts should not come loose.
After looking around in my budget, thus seemed a good option at under £100.CONS:1. Main point and reason for rating. The head stem nuts came loose after 1week of use on good pavements. If you don't have the spanners for this it could 've a real pain, and shorten the life of the bearings as it allowed 3mm movement before the stem clamp.2. It rattles a lot. As a first time user maybe this is normal. Main points of rattle. The strap connecting hoops. The folding latch. Rear break. All 3 could be fixed by the manufacturer very easily and cheaply. I used Velcro strap to solve 2 of them.3. The folding handle bars have 2 points. The clamp is quick release but as the release arm is so sort very hard to grasp to open. Once off and bars removed the elastic cord between the two bars is not long enough to reach the clips mounted on the main stem.4. There is noticeable flex if moving weight from side to side on platform. I am far from max weight so maybe issue for heavier users.5. The rear break is a little weak.PROS:1. The smoothness of the bears are great, once up to speed you keep cruzing with min effort.2. Easy to fold bar points above.3. Found it light to take on train and use of the shoulder strap is great.4. The big wheels travel well on path and light gravel.5. The ergonomic handle grip are comfortable6. The kick stand is stable on level ground.7. The bell is a plus it does helpFor price a good scooter but head stem nuts should not come loose.
