I recently decided to build a new flightcase for my mixer (I’m a DJ) and wanted to integrate everything into my case which of course learning what my options were and I found that Neutrik components were the way to go, then there was the issue of power supply, I’ve only ever used IEC and I’ve always considered them fiddly to wire and quite ugly, then I discovered PowerCon which looks better, only downside is you MUST use Neutrik’s own spade connectors when wiring the sockets as mainstream connectors do NOT fit, there’s only a handful of suppliers you can get them from, none of which are on Amazon. The good thing with Neutrik is that there are literally hundreds of applications

on my 4th box now so good time to get a review in,although not the "Branded" version the gear snobs would be looking for, these do an admiral job for all the electrical in the industry i'm in (Events & Entertainment) needed to replace a few of the Branded ones that had failed back when there appeared to have been a shortage, and came across these, no difference, they fit, they work, and the connection tolerances appear identical, will be having more of sure,

You beed to use a good thick cable, a smaller cable wont clamp and lock in.

I didn't expect much with these being so cheap, but these are so poorly manufactured they can only be described as dangerous. I've thrown them all in the bin.

They are cheap compared to the genuine ones. However, they are perfectly well made. The contacts through had little resistance. They passed pat testing. They will take 2.5mm and 1.5mm HO7RNF cable.So, we would definitely recommend them.

Needed to make so 1.5M powercon cables. This purchase of 5 in & 5 out seemed a good deal. Plugs are well made. All screws to hold cable in are good. Not used the panel mount sockets but a bonus they came with these. I used the cables I made last night & all worked perfect. I will be ordering more
