Excellent customer service, nice machine for a first model
I purchased and used my OTTO back in June of 2018. About a week ago, for no reason, the thing completely broke. Would not start, grind, turn on or off. I contacted OTTOMATION and within 10 days received a brand new unit.I wanted to highly recommend the customer service of this company. Rest assured if you have a problem, they will take care of it no problems asked. Now on to the review...I love the simplicity and modernity of having this machine. It does do the job well, but like some of the other comments here, could use some improvement in future models. You have to remember this is a brand new product, and like with anything new, there are some bumps along the road.PROS: Nice design, easy to use, charges quickly, (somewhat) easy to cleanCONS: Cleaning the actual unit itself can be laborious, esp. depending on the stickiness of the flowerAlthough honestly more of a novelty at this point, it does bring a new simplicity to rolling your own, and would recommend to any cannoisseur out there who appreciates a well made cone!

Third time changing my review .
This is my third review. I've had it for Less Than 3 months and it stopped working. It makes a loud winding slash screeching noise and does not move the grinding mechanism. I'm still well within the one-year warranty. But outside of the one month return. Amazon told me to contact banana Bros through amazon. I contacted them and they wanted a picture of my device which I posted. From that point on I've never heard from them. Very very sad customer service. Amazon had to step in and make it right. Would still cost me a restocking fee but at least I'm not down 160 bucks in total. When the machine was working it was the best automatic grinder I found. But for 160 bucks in the last Less Than 3 months that's ridiculous. Far from the best. So do not buy!I needed this grinder because I had hand surgery. The first one I purchased constantly shut off for no reason. I found out that the rod was that long enough to fully close the limit switch so the grinder knows it's closed. Clearly if all the unit so I returned it. My new grinder works much better but still has its issues. The stuff I'm grinding up is usually a little bit dense. I'll put a nickel size bud in the grinder and there's times the unit cannot handle it. It will try for a bit and then shut off. You either have to wait a minute or two to turn back on or plug in the power cord real quick and unplug it and then you can finish grinding that piece. There's times I put two of them in there and it works fine. They definitely need a bigger battery and probably a stronger motor. And it uses a micro usb to charge. It should definitely be a type-c. I lowered it to three stars because the batteries charge is getting worse.

Comes with old cable. Low capacity.
Came with the old style charger so that sucked. They advise a deep clean after 10 uses. It only holds a gram at a time. I use a lot of product so that means I could be cleaning it some times 6 to 8 times a day. So I'm not looking forward to that. Hope it's easy. Buuuuut.. it does a nice grind really fast. It's easy to use. I like it a lot. I just wish the cable was updated and the capacity was higher both for each grind and between cleanings.

Friends … are you like me? Do you suffer from debilitating PTSD-related symptoms ...
Friends … are you like me?Do you suffer from debilitating PTSD-related symptoms resulting from combat infantry service in the United States Army in a jungle or a desert or a wherever far, far away when you were young and stupid? Are you thusly and routinely beset by dark and mysterious forces that you just can’t explain? Do you need a proper weapon to help keep the beast at bay, so you can get some rest?Well, of course you are like me, and funny you should say so. There seem to be more and more of us about lately. Did you notice? I did.Friends ... sure if I don't have something to tell you about.Lots of the best people are saying … if you grind up lavender or sage or whatever other hippie-grass you like into a sachet shaped like a big cone (maybe 110mm long) … and you should happen to set that cone on fire … it CAN help drive away the darkness for a little while. Believe me.But do you worry about getting the … lavender … into the cone? Well, friends, have no fear. The Otto Grinder is here!I mean … probably it will help you … you know … unless it doesn’t work for YOUR specific demons. Use … lavender … responsibly and legally. What do I know about your madness? You might be way, way beyond … lavender. What do I look like, a doctor? I'm not a doctor. I digress.Anyway, if you ARE like me, you might really appreciate a device like this that flawlessly and quickly grinds your … lavender … into an organic hemp pre-rolled kingsized cone (like the kind that Raw sells 100 at a time for $25 bucks on Amazon and in fine stores everywhere). The Banana Bros. Otto Grinder is IDEAL for getting that dang … lavender … into the dang cone. Even if your … lavender … is … sticky … for some reason.Easy to use once you read the directions or watch the videos or just get the hang of it. Easiest way I have found to grind up … lavender … and believe me, friends, I have tried me a lots of ways.Take it from your old Uncle Pete. Get yourself a Banana Bros. Otto Grinder. Kick your demons in the ass for a couple of hours at a time by burning some … lavender … as needed. All the best people have ALSO told me something else. Apparently, it’s good for weed too. So it has THAT going for it.Available in stores and on Amazon or whatever. No C.O.D. (Is that even a thing anymore?)What?!? Do I look like I sell stuff? I don't know how people sell stuff. No. I don't. Maybe they still take C.O.D. I don't know.Just buy this damn grinder thing. It's great.PS -- This is a legit review. I love this thing. Just wanted to try my hand at an old timey radio advert that just got stranger and stranger. The thingy really is cool. I have been in no way compensated for being an apostle of it's awesomeness ... yet. :)Like any good American, I am always open to bribery.
