Embroidex 24 Spools Variegated Embroidery Machine Thread

I have used one of the spools. I have a Deluxe Ruby Royale Embroidery machine. I used standard needles not embroidery needles. I compared the two brands and the polyester thread is almost as shiny as the Robison-Anton Rayon 40. The difference is so small that I would still buy the polyester thread and 1/6 of the price. There are only three minor issues that I quickly resolved. (1) The spool doesn't have a snap base so I put a piece of double sided tape inside the spool lip. (2) The thread unwinds the opposite way as the Robison-Anton so I turned it upside down and used a smaller holder. (3) The thread unwraps to quickly and gets tangled, to correct this I used the additional thread holder and looped the thread around the spindle, then it unwound properly. It did not break or shred.

I've only done two test stitches so far, but I really like the variegated threads in this pack! The thread is sturdy, had no breaks in my PE770 (even in the dense areas of one of the patterns where my machine was complaining a bit). With the right patterns, the results will be stunning - I'm even pleased with my test stitch ups.My only complaint is - the only numbering is on the top (which of course comes off once on machine), not on base - requiring me to use a sharpie to add the color number in case I need it down the road. As this is a minor inconvenience, I still give it 5 stars.

I bought this thread for general sewing. The thread arrived in a box and each spool shrink wrapped. The sheen of this thread is beautiful and has a nice array of colors. I had zero issues finding the end of the thread, there is a loop knot that easily comes undone. Works great on cotton and has not broken or frayed. For basic sewing this set is awesome and an excellent value at around 65 cents per spool.

The thread colors are good. Two complaints:The model #'s are on a label at the top of the spool and have to be removed before using them- I had to permanent mark the # at the base of each spool.No place on spool to secure thread after use :(

I like the small compact storage box that these came in and find it a most organized way to store them. I was less impressed with the particular color combinations included in the set, but at such a low price I am still glad to have them. I used them on some very dense embroidery and am perfectly happy with the quality.

Thread was just as gorgeous in person as it was in picture! I love Embroidex threads and have never had a problem - I love that I can get a bigger variety of colors for the same price of a smaller variety of the much more known brand names! If you ever wanted to try a brand and not be disappointed give Embroidex a try!

Love this thread. I have never been brave enough to buy embroidery thread off the internet, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and performance of this thread. It has a great sheen. I have been using it for several months already and have had no issues with breakage. It stitches out beautifully. I think I found a new thread. Love it!

The colors are beautiful, I love these and purchased twice, before the price shot up by nearly 100% overnight. They were a great value at $14.99, but not so much at $24.99 the next day. I would be a consistent customer in the future if they lower the price back to the original, reasonable amount.
