The physical difference from his new diet was spectacular but her kitchen was a mess. Lucy then realized that dehydrating whole foods made mealtimes much simpler while maintaining the natural health benefits of the ingredients. From there, The Honest Kitchen was born - and her kitchen stayed much cleaner! Today, The Honest Kitchen is on a mission to revolutionize the pet food industry through their obsession with product integrity and commitment to help as many pets as possible get on the road to good health through natural, wholesome proper food.

BUY YOUR OLD DOG A POUND OF FILLET MIGNON
Was going to purchase a second bag, however the price increased three dollars in just 14 days. That's almost $3.00 an ounce folks. This is just dehydrated beef or chicken, liver or gizzards or hearts. (butchers sell it cheap). And filler of dehydrated vegetables. Not worth the price, no change in my old dogs health or vitality.

Beef variety will likely be ROCK HARD.
The beef flavor will likely be ROCK HARD. I had to break it up with a hammer BUT when I mixed the crumbs up with my dogs food, it did do the trick. It wasn’t until we ordered the Lamb version to try did we realize that it shouldn’t be so hard. The lamb variety is very easy to crumble between your fingers. I wrote the company and they said this was normal. The beef variety becomes very hard for some reason they don’t understand or seem to be bothered by based on my interaction with them. We will still use the product, just not the beef flavor. It’s a shame.

Very hard
I like the idea of these toppers and love the ingredients but was not thrilled that they were so hard. I'm thinking they aren't supposed to be since the directions say you can crumble them. The problem is they were too hard to crumble. The package is several months away from the best by date so I don't think that is the issue. I have bought the turkey toppers and they were fine so maybe it's this flavor or an off batch.

Hard as rocks!
Very disappointed! Not at all what I expected! This topper is rock hard and my dog can’t eat it! Sure, I can soak them and eventually they will break up with a fork, but I shouldn’t have to do this! Had to give at least one star which this product does not deserve! Wish I had read the other reviews before ordering. Will stick with Instinct Raw Boost Mixers, that are soft!

Good quality, strange appearance
Like the quality of ingredients listed on the bag. Can’t say the same about the appearance. Looks like poop. But my dog eats it so I guess that's good.

Waste of my money
My dog wouldn't even go near them. I put it on top of his regular meat and he would not eat his regulAr meal. Lot of money for nothing.

Large, don’t mix well
These are large pieces in the unfortunate size, color & shape of dog poop. Looks aside, they are too large to mix well with kibble, the intended use.

Three Stars
These are REALLY crunch. I am afraid the topper chunks are cutting the roof of my dog's mouth.
