Best Pack I've Used - But the Liner Does Rip Out
I have been ultra running for years and have always been loyal to the Salomon Skin Set 12L packs. But I recently ran a mountain 100M that had a ton of required gear and very long, unsupported stretches. I couldn't fit everything in the 12L so with the recommendation of a fellow racer, I upsized to this pack. Now its the only thing I want to wear. I'm small framed and was able to adjust this to 0-bounce, no chafing, and nicely distributed weight. The pockets are intuitive so it's easy to stash what you need where you need it. And the straps on the back work nicely as bungees if you want to loop a wet jacket or puffy through them. The pole holders keep the poles off your back and in place. And all the secret pockets add a nice touch - I'm thinking specifically of the protected phone pocket, and the extra pockets I use for trash in the side food pouches. Only complaint: The foil insulation lining in the bladder compartment ripped out of my blue one on the second use. I sent it back to Ultraspire and exchanged it for a new one. The foil lining ripped out of that one on the first use. It's an unnecessary feature, but it was a bit frustrating. I have talked to others with this pack and it's 50/50 whether the lining survived. Since everything else about the pack is above-par, I'd highly recommend it. It's now my go-to piece for adventure running.

So many storage options
This vest is perfect for those of us who want to take all the things on hikes or runs. Like I might need a separate pocket for my keys than from my chews or my chapstick. I need a pocket I can easily access for putting my phone in and out quickly.

Worth the money!
This hydration pack is worth the $$!!! It has pockets galore and everything fits inside comfortably and doesn't shift around or bounce while running. I absolutely glad I spent the extra money and purchased this!

Decent pack with lots of pockets however sizing is off
Decent pack for 100milers. The pros are great pockets to hold your nutrition and gloves/hats; plenty of storage to go the distance; durable pack vs the Salomon packs. The cons is the front bottle pockets are too big for other brands such as Salomon/Ultimate Direction soft flasks. It’s best for plastic bottles vs the collapsible bottles. Another con is the sizing is off: my chest size is 41/42 inches thus a large pack however I can pull both sides of the vest and meets each other….. I would go with a medium; and the last con is the fastenings gets loose within a hour of running and then have to adjust and tighten again. I wouldn’t but again.
