Heat helps with the fit.
I decided to give this a try despite the other reviews about this not working. I got it on sale for $85 and am glad I purchased it! It works great and took about 5 minutes to change the gaskets out. The corners are a little weird but I went over it lightly with a heat gun and it popped right in. At first the door wouldn't stay closed but it was because I had stuff on the shelves inside that was pushing against it a little. I have frigidaire model GLRT83TESF.

One-time problem, or not?
1 star because you can’t do no stars!This part came in a box with the right part number, and looked almost right, but did not work. The gasket, or seal was too thin and did not seal the door to the body of the refrigerator. There was a large gap on the hinge side of the door. Fortunately, I was able to find one locally the next day, but at a higher price. This one came in a box that looked, and was part-number labeled exactly the same, but this one was as thick as the old one, and when I installed it, it created a full seal all the way around the door.I can think of three explanations:1. The part is a knock-off (not OEM), and not made correctly;2. Someone returned it, with the wrong part inside, before it was sold to me (the box looked like it might have been opened before;3. Maybe the manufacturer changed the spec for the part.Who knows, but now I need to return it and try to recover my shipping costs.I’m disappointed this didn’t work out because something that should have been simple ends up burning a lot of time.

Good quality stuff
Fast shipping, I'm glad that Amazon they didn't bend my package follow my instruction. Great product, even better than the original one. Because when it first came , I already found out that the gasket was loose. That's american made, so sad. Fregidaire and Amazon, thk u for the great service, keep it up.

Great product excellent fit
Excellent fit! easy removal of the old one and easy installation of the new 1. just make sure you press every inch of the seal into the channel it's supposed to rest in

Bad reviews were correct.
I should have sent it back. It was just like the bad reviews stated. I got rid of it and the fridge.
