I finally got sick enough of my cat digging inside my houseplants that I did a search for something that would keep her from doing it. I came across this gem that fits around your plant and sits on top of the dirt resulting in no dirt being kicked around. My grandma also wants one to keep the squirrels out of one of her outdoor potted plants. They are also cutable to fit all sized pots. I believe these could be used indoor and outdoor. Having this on prevents most damage from potted plants and keeps children safe. Worth the money but it is kind of expensive.

Once I figured out how to make it fit my 16in pot, it looks great and works well at keeping my cat from digging in it. However, I ruined one of the panels when trying to cut it to make it fit. Definitely user error, but there's no instructions or suggestions on how to cut it to fit the plant in the middle + the pot. I also think these were a tad bit expensive. Especially after I ruined one and now can't cover the other pot I have, I don't want to buy another set. For sure user error and my loss! If you can figure out how to make it fit without messing it up, it's perfect!

This is the perfect solution to prevent my baby from grabbing a handful of potting soil. It is easy to cut and adapt to your plant. Since my plant was 4 small trunks and I didn’t need the hole in the middle, I just used an extra piece and placed it underneath the others to cover the center hole. Works perfectly!

Works fine. Easy to cut for custom fit. I used zip ties to keep the sections together because my cat is a menace and somehow managed to removed the sticks that hold it in place. I bought this to prevent my cat from digging in my pots, and it has worked so far.

i messed up the first section i cut, but once i figured it out, they worked perfectly! super easy to cut and fit around all my plants. i finally am able to keep plants inside without the cat assaulting all the soil. i’m definitely buying more!

These keep my cats from digging in my pots. I even rigged up a cat grass container with one. They're easy to cut down to size to fit any container, just be sure to keep at least one of the anchor sections.

My cats loved to dig up my plants, these stopped all of that. These are super easy to use and nice in planters that need open tops for new shoots.

This item has saved my indoor plants, not to mention hours of sweeping. My cats love to dig up my inside plants, and I love them both so I had to find something to stop the digging. These are strong but are still able to be cut down to fit in most plant pots. The low cost is an added plus.
