It's a good little phone, but has issues...
I purchased this phone after my old Xperia Z3V started having issues. My only issue with setting this phone up is that it uses GSM bands (AT&T and T-Mobile) instead of CDMA like U.S Cellular, Sprint, and Verizon (my previous carrier and my totally my fault for not noticing). After making a special trip to Walmart to purchase a Straight Talk SIM card kit, I was able to get this going with the AT&T compatible SIM card and transfer my number from Verizon to Straight Talk. The only other issue I had in setting this phone up was the mobile data which Straight Talk had to walk me through... As for the phone itself, it is smaller than my old Z3V but still has plenty of real estate. The screen is sharp and photos look great on the 23MP camera. The flash is extremely bright as well. The operating system (which I had to update a couple times right out of the box) is very snappy, something I couldn't say about my Z3V before it died. If you're on a budget and looking for a decent unlocked Android, I would highly recommend the XA1. Despite the hoops I initially had to jump through in changing carriers, it has been worth it. I love this phone and anticipate enjoying it for a long time.UPDATE: After not even a month, I woke up one morning and the phone started to randomly power off by itself and wouldn't turn back on unless plugged into a power source. After some quick searching, I found that there's a common defect with this model where the copper foil on the back plate can come into contact with the motherboard of the phone and short circuit the device. After taking the back plate off and putting some scotch tape over the copper foil, I haven't had any more issues. I'm sure I probably voided whatever warranty doing that, but it was a quick, easy, and cheap repair. If you're uncomfortable possibly having to troubleshoot an android device, you're probably better off looking for something else.

Love my phone
Love my phone. Interface is smooth and fast as there is no delay in accessing your apps. For the price the phone looks and feels expensive. Very happy with my purchase. Recommend to anyone who is looking for something different whilst keeping on a budget.

Screen is great
Pros: Very clean and clear photos. Battery lasts! No lag. Quick phone.Cons: Small.

Didn't last very long
After about one year the charging port became mostly unusable - seems like a loose connection somewhere inside. Photo's were unimpressive even though supposedly good camera was the main reason I chose this camera. The odd long shape while not using the whole screen area seems like a waste of space. I have replaced this with a different brand of phone and am much happier now.

This phone isn't unlocked.
They advertise that it is unlocked and compatible with GSM carriers. It isn't my carrier is GSM and the phone will not allow me to use mobile data. I am not sure what the problem is but I am returning it.

Problemas con la sensibilidad de la pantalla
No compre este producto. Tiene problemas en los costados de la pantalla con el touch. Tiene espacios muertos. Un desastre para ser Sony.

bueno, uno fue para mi señora madre y el otro para mi. chulada de teléfono. muy agradable a la vista, al tacto y en lo funcional.

Buena compra
El teléfono fue para mi papá, buscábamos un teléfono con más memoria interna, de buen costo y el no quería probar marcas poco conocidas, así que éste Sony Experia fue una buena compra, cumple con la expectativa. No usa muchas aplicaciones, así que no tenemos problema con que las actualizaciones le llenen el teléfono, además el está muy contento porque dice que es fácil de utilizar y toma buenas fotos.

Batería pobre
El celular tiene dos problemas grandes. Una batería de poca capacidad (leyendo reseñas ahora entiendo que es un problema conocido, mi error fue no leer antes), con cada uso que le doy baja 1% casi. Y el brillo de la pantalla es inestable. Una mala compra.

Esta lindo en software y hardware
Muy buen celular de gama media con características impresionantes un gran espacio y memoria ram para ejecutar aplicaciones algo demandantes, muy recomendable.

hola pues me gusto hasta ahora a suplido mis expectativas y capacidad .. no se necesito mucho estoy satistechas gracias .. me hubiera gustado en rojo o verde militar
