Bought this brand because the rear panel is removable by pressing two built in clips and you have access to all the working internal parts if need be. It also able to ignite one or both heat panels and the heat is adjustable. Heat Hog did a wonderful job designing this unit. Should last a long time. The carry handle is quite sturdy. It can hold a small propane tank internally and can also use a propane hose is you need to connect to a larger propane tank. It also has a low oxygen shut off protection.

If you need to heat up your garage in a few minutes in the dead of winter this is perfect for you. I don't recommend using in huge spaces but it works perfect in our two car garage.

Stick to a Mr buddy. The hinge feature doesn’t lock and causes issues constantly. I put a lot of faith in this product to ice camp and it shuts off randomly every time I use it, even on a completely flat surface. I have purchased multiple CO detectors, so it is not the low oxygen switch. I have tried with multiple propane tanks, multiple hoses and even 1lb propane tanks. This product is not reliable and not worth the money. More of a hassle than the benefit. Very disappointed for the money spent. Garbage and I’m at a loss for words. I will not be using anymore sadly. I thought this would be a game changer but it is a liability and should not be used as a sole heat source unless you want to freeze.

Not what it says it is. Clearly on the box and in the description of the heater, it says, Indoor/Outdoor heater. On the first page of the instructions, it clearly states that it is not to be used in RVs and tents and use extreme caution in a house. Never unpacked the heater and sending it back. If had seen the instructions, I would have never ordered it. UPDATE...Customer care took care of the problem and made it right. Thanks for their help, just know it IS NOT FOR INDOOR USE.

Works great. If it could use both cans at the same time or auto switch when one ran out it instead on just storing 1 as a backup it would be perfect.

I'm glad I followed Nate's recommendation on what propane heater to get. It works great, even in the dead of a Minnesota winter. In an uninsulated space, it puts out enough heat to keep 2 people warm. It goes through those camping propane canisters in about 1.5 hours, so I'd recommend getting the adapters to use a full-size propane tank.If you're having trouble starting it for the first time, don't forget to purge the lines by holding down the dial for at least 30 seconds.

Bought this unit for icefishing/icecamping and I'm already impressed. Build quality is great without going overly heavy as to be a burden to pack around. I appreciate the tilt functionality for keeping the heat elevated to prevent excess water buildup on the ice. Very efficient on liquid propane, was able to get several hours per 1lb canister. I also like the deck system to keep a second canister warm and ready to go when the main tank runs out. Great value. Will be getting the adapter to run a 15lb or 20lb tank for longer multi-day trips.

This is one of the best portable heaters, and great brand I use it in my hunting blind on low and a 1 lb propane tank lasts about 4.5 hrs. I like that it ticks back and it cools down pretty quickly! For the price it’s above and beyond, way more bang for your buck. The safety features are pretty good but as always be SELF AWARE IT IS A PROPANE HEATER, the guard does get very HOT!!! I can’t say it enough this 18,000 BTU HEAT HOG WORKS AMAZING!!!! I definitely recommend this!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I also like it stores a second tank in the back. It’s super easy to light and operate!
