Super easy to install. Hello privacy!
I have a window in my bathroom right over the toilet that I didn’t want to cover with curtains so that we could maximize the natural light in the small space. This window cling has been really easy to install, with the hardest part being getting the cuts straight. So happy to have more privacy in this bathroom!I used a plant mister bottle with water to mist all over the window after cleaning it with glass cleaner. Peeling the film back was pretty easy, but I had cut two sides (the height was larger than I needed) so I checked the corner where both cuts intersected and got a little edge to peel back from. The film clung instantly, and I used a squeegee from a phone glass protector kit to squeegee the entire surface, but I’m sure a credit card would do the trick too. Will have to update on how well it clings throughout the seasons, but it wouldn’t be a hassle since spraying, sticking, and squeegeeing take like 5 secs. For anyone having trouble with removing the film backing, if you’re able to make a small cut that intersects with your width cut (from cutting the film from the roll) to make a corner, that might help you!

Finally, privacy!
I originally had a holographic stain glass rainbow privacy film. I loved it, because it would make pretty rainbows inside my house when the sun would shine through. Little did I know how little privacy it actually gave me. I was walking by one of my windows at night and glanced over and saw that I could clearly make out the entire room that was lit. Thankfully, I caught it sooner rather than later. I immediately searched for better privacy films that still looked nice. That’s where I found these. I like the frosted look, and that they aren’t completely white. They have a soft white glow to them when it’s light outside.Privacy: Morning, you can’t see anything from outside. Night, you can only make out faint dark blurry shapes.Ease of installation: Easy, if you have patience. You can’t expect a pristine finish if you’re haphazardly cutting the pieces to fit, splashing water on them and slapping them onto the window glass. It takes time to line up at a corner and slowly lay it down. While you’re laying it down, you can slide it to better match your edges. It’s very easy to lit back off if you need to make more adjustments to your film in cutting to fit. I run it under my tap to get off any potential dust particles that would have collected onto it while I was making new cuts. I use a credit card to squeeze out any bubbles.I would buy again, definitely worth its price.

Don't forget about the backing!
This screen is perfect. It's simple and VERY easy to install. But there is one key thing to remember above all other tips:DO NOT forget, there is a backing - a sheet of plastic - behind the window film. It keeps dust and dirt from impeding the adhesion of the film, but it MUST be removed before installing. I made this mistake, and had one heck of a time getting it to stick to the window. Once I discovered there was a backing to peel off, this task became infinitely easier. Here are some other tips:- Clean the window before applying. Dirt and debris will interfere with the natural adhesion of the film- Get a spray bottle and fill it with a mildly soapy water. Spray this on the window and back of the film before applying- Use a razor to cut the film while installing, instead of beforehand. Simply roll out the film on your window, and once it's in place, cut along the edge of the glass. Like this, you eliminate the need of measuring.- Use a credit card or other flat edge to push bubbles (and soapy water) from the middle and off the edge of the film after installing. This will leave a much cleaner look from both sidesImages are of the film on my front door. It's rolled out in three rows horizontally. You almost can't see the seams at all.

Tips to peel the liner off the vinyl!
Love this stuff -- we bought Frost, and it's really nice. We put it up on four windows in our basement, and it looks amazing!BUT: When we first unrolled it onto a cutting pad, we could see the pad right through it. Uh oh! But no worries. When it's on the windows, you can't see into even brightly lit space, even when you get very close to the window from outside. All we could see was light. There are some tips I want to pass along:One is to measure twice (or more!) before you cut. Leave a little space (like 1/16th of an inch) all the way around so you can get the water out as you apply the vinyl. If you have a large cutting pad (like for sewing), and a rotary cutter, you'll cut nice straight lines. You'll also need a good ruler, a thin sharpie, scissors, a washcloth, and patience. It also helps to have buddy to lend a hand.(We didn't need soap. Be careful NOT to spray too much water, it can be a mess to release all the bubbles if you use too much.)Also, we had a VERY difficult time trying to peel the liner away from the vinyl -- until we put some clear shipping tape at the edge of a cut piece. We used about 3 to 4 inches of tape hanging off the liner side so that we could grip it. Then using a fingernail, we kind of picked at the vinyl at one edge while holding the tape until we got a bit of separation. After that, we were able to peel the liner away from the vinyl. (Two people made this step much easier.)(Note: There was no information on peeling the two layers apart, and it was very frustrating and took a while to figure out this workaround.)Go slow, take your time, expect to make a mistake or two until you get a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, it goes faster. Remember, you can always adjust the vinyl placement to get the best fit because it's only held in place with water.Good luck! It's worth the effort!

Cant Peel Off!!
Chose this because of the great reviews. But it was a horrible experience. Firstly, I just couldn't separate the film from the sheet at the edge. Gave up after 10 minutes and called the Mrs. with longer nails. It was quite a struggle for her too. When we finally managed to, the protective sheet just couldn't peel off properly, tearing in multiple places after which it was impossible to remove the sheet. Tried 3 times. Had the same problem. In the end, my patience just gave away and I ended up dumping it in the bin. I'm surprised to see so many customers had it so easy. It was a real struggle for me and the Mrs. who tried too after I gave up. She called it quits after the second try. Defective/Fake product?

Perfect for an apartment!
One of the windows in my apartment didn’t offer me as much privacy as I like. This product was the perfect solution. It was easy to apply and is able to be removed without causing any damage to the window

Doesn't last
Unfortunately it just wouldn't stay on. Used plenty of water but after a day or two they would peel off or completely fall off on their own. Asked my dad to apply them for me assuming it was a me problem but the same thing happened.

Works as it should
Product was easy to install and works great for what we needed it for. Even in direct sunlight it hasn’t started to peel off yet! Would recommend if you need some privacy
