Ovaltine Chocolate Flavoured Tablet Malt Candy, 12g 24 Packs

These are to me a memory from my childhood. I am 82 but remember buying Horlicks candy on Saturdays at the corner store before going to the movies with my siblings. I love the malty taste..their not exactly like the originals but close. So good. Good value. I have tried another brand from Amazon and they are good too, but I like these better. I offered my 4 yo ggrandson and choice of a pack of gummy fruits or a pack of these..he picked these.

Bought these trying to find something similar to the Horlick's Chocolate Malt tablets I used to get as a kid and was able to find online, up until a few years ago. I love Ovaltine Chocolate Malt powder in my milk or milkshakes (also getting hard to find) and figured to try. Try they are very similar in taste to what I was looking for, they are very small tablets, the packages are small, and over all I probably will not order again due to the price.

amazon you need to have this in stock at all times. this is everyone's favorite childhood candy!!!!!!!!!!!

Compared to my now non-existent favorite, Horlicks, it's darned close, and not too sweet. I'd buy it again. Value for money I rated lower, as it's rather steep for such a small amount. Not physically heavy nor breakable, so shipping should be less of a cost issue.

Still trying to find what we bought as kids! These are close but not the same taste. But as close as I can find, I will order more.

Taste reminded me of childhood but not worth the price. Also, it was missing 1 out of 24 and previous order, 1 package was melted.
