Coleman Outfitter 500 - 500cc 4WD Utility Vehicle (UTV)

I ordered this Coleman Outfitter 500 from Coleman Power Sports In September 2017. A representative from Coleman Power Sports Contacted me shortly after the order was placed to update me on delivery procedures. They continued to give me updates until the item was delivered directly to my door. After delivery. I was contacted again by Coleman to confirm delivery and to insure I was satisfied with the product. This has been the best experience I have had with any order I have placed. If anyone is thinking of purchasing an ATV or other power sport de ice, I highly recommend Coleman Power Sports

We are happy with our order, but we had a worry when we called to find out when it would be delivered and the dispatcher said it was delivered. Turns out that was wrong and it was still on the way. We love driving it. I could not find anywhere on the order where it said that it came with a windshield and side mirrors so we had ordered them separately. Both returned with refunds so no problem. We would like them to also recommend what is the best snow plow for the machine.

I have a Coleman 500, 2014 model. I have only ridden it 120 miles and that has been riding grand kids around in the yard . It has been serviced and kept in the shop. I recently had problems with it not pulling and so I read on what forums I could find and it seem to suggest the clutch was bad. after taking the cover off from around the clutch, I noticed about a half of cup of oil ran on the floor. I am pretty sure it is the secondary clutch bearing on the shaft leaking. I called a nice guy with Power sports and spoke with him and he said I would have to take the bushing out and get a part number for him to send me the right one. The Problem is, I can get it off the shaft, I have spent hours on line trying to find parts and info. on a Coleman and is almost impossible! I wished I had never purchased this China piece of crap! 120 miles and looks like brand new, never been in mud, but that is how Sorry this machine is! Buy anything but a Coleman!!

Took my new machine out for the first time last weekend; this involved trailering it to another site. Imagine my surprise when I arrived only to find that the roof (or "shed" as it's listed in parts) had blown off. A call to customer service got the "well, that's not warranted". with no explanation as to why it would blow off in the first place. Made me sick.This is a 500 UTV; it's pretty much a sub-compact machine, the smaller size is very noticable when parked next to a Kawasaki Teryx. Given the smaller size and poor customer service I'd advise anyone else to pass on this. If you're set on getting one, buy a Hisun model; they're the ones who make these for Coleman, perhaps their customer service is better.

We’ve had nothing but problems for the last four years , we bought a Coleman 400 utv from cabelas in 2015 and in 15 months it was in the shop 7 times finally got Coleman’s to replace it after months contacting a lawer , they traded us a 2016 500 utv in April 2017 and a few months later while traveling with it on a trailer the windshield and roof blew off still under the Year warranty they would do nothing now after 2 years the engine just stopped , will cost almost 5 thousand dollars to replace this machine was never off-roading this belongs to a older disabled veterans his way to get around his property and give his grandchildren rides he now has had 2 broken ones and is out of all this money !! And very disappointed never would buy another Coleman

I have the coleman outterfitter 550 , I bought from tractor supply . i have put 65 miles on this great little truck and like it alot. i have never used the 4WD until now . i put it in 4WD and it poped out of gear as i moved foward ?? So i called coleman explained what happen they found me my nearest dealer , its at the dealer now waiting on the front diff shift motor. the repair shop is working on it now , it will be ready next week. My outfitter was a demo at tractor supply and had people test driving it , so the problem could have been done by someone that did not engauge it right? look folks im 58 years old and have been a mechanic all my life , So im use to all kinds of mechanical problems with all makes and models. the bottom line is coleman came through for my 550 outfitter . Im very happy with what i got and the service coleman has done .
