Will it receive+record older analog tv channels (ntsc ch 4.0) as well as newer digital tv channels (atsc ch 4.1)? or, only newer digital tv channels?

This is a digital TV channel recorder multimedia box with an antenna input to convert old analog channel numbers to digital. Analog channels are no longer over the air in my area of the U.S. The answer is digital TV channels only over the air.

How many shows it can record at same time

I have a smart tv from 2013. I dont have dish or cable but would like to record my local soap operas. Will this work?

I use a smart antenna myself. I have no problem with any of the local network affiliates. An occasional problem with local independents but it is a function of the strength of their signals. Generally any channel you can get on your TV will work with the KOQI box.
