These are good strong supports for plants and good value.

Great bamboo canes, used for our tomato plants primarily and also used for a couple of house plants. We bought clips separately as they do not come with the canes,but great value anyway.

I've used them all summer for my tomatoes plants and I've had no problems. They held through rain, wind and sun after I put the plants in a low container. None of the sticks snapped or splintered.

The canes arrived taped together at both ends with no external packaging. I intended to use the canes to go into connecting balls for a brassica cage, but if I'd had a choice I would have only used these as plant supports in a border after trimming.The quality was mixed from reasonable to semi-useable if a portion was sawn off or shortened. One cane end broke and splayed when I tried to cut it. Others still had the (now) dried point where the leaf stem had originally been lopped- so needed to trim these to avoid snagging the netting.These canes were not 'Strong Thick Heavy Duty'.
