Frame Arms: White Tiger 1/100 Scale Plastic Model Kit by Kotobukiya

I have had a lot of experience building mecha model kits but this was going to be my first kotobukiya kit. This kit is awesome IF you have the right know how. The joints are good the poses are dynamic, but there are some serious flaws. First there are an incredible amount of seem lines and terrible nubs you will have to face. Something I have not come across when purchasing an expensive kit like this. If you know how to handle these you will be fine. The seem lines wont be too noticeable since all of the parts fit very well. There is actually a high tolerance on all of the pieces... Besides a few. First the shoulder joints will pop out with any movement. Even modifying them they will still pop out and I ended up breaking the ball joint. Second the shoulder armor. What ever you do DO NOT put them on. The peg connection isnt even a millimeter thick, a simple touch in the wrong way will creak it off. On mine the head had three issues. 1 the "brow" piece was very loose, glue is an easy fix. 2 there is a small grey piece that fits in the top and it will need to be just the right size or else it will very rudely display the terrible seem line on the head. 3 the head antenna has a little loose and it is VERY delicate, mine snapped in half randomly when it was just laying down. Lastly this kit will have to be panel lined or else it will look incredibly bland. Also if any one thinks I am just not experienced enough, ilI have been building bandai model kits for the last three years and i have a few dozen completed, ranging from super deformed to master grade. Never have I ever had to build such a finicky kit in this price range.TLDR: This kit has many flaws and you will only be able to surpass them if you have a very delicate touch, have extensive experience in modifying and experience with the kotobukiya frame arms line. This experience ended up costing me $84, $24 extra for needing to buy spare parts, which is a bit too much considering the head ache it brought me.

Looks too plain without panel lines done other than that it's pretty cool after adding details.

Very fun build, great poses, a solid kit and has great customization with the add on kits for more weapons, would highly recommend.

足の関節部分が折れやすく、買い直したものも折れました。あとは問題なく組めて、ウェザリングもしやすいいいキットです。

メタルギアでお馴染みの新川さんデザインのフレームアームズです。まずデザインがカッコ良過ぎます！フレームアーキテクトはほぼ使用されておらず別物と化していますが他キットとの相互性もあるようです。サイズもノーマルのフレームアームズより大きく、ガンプラの1/100サイズ程あって存在感があります。関節にはABSが多用されているため塗装派には多少シビアな内容かもしれませんが強度も充分なので、カッコ良さに免じてOKとしましょう(^-^)フェイスガードを外すと人面風の顔があったり、武器ランナーも２枚付いているのでライフル両手持ちorダブルキャノンにも出来たりと楽しさ満載ですね。同じ新川デザインのメタルギアREXやサヘラントロプス(世界観は別物だけど同スケール)と並べても面白いでしょうね。是非、この異色のフレームアームズを手に取ってみて下さい！

従来のFAが使われているパーツ（素体）はほとんどない、首と胴体とかのごく一部分だけですFAっていっていいのかな？　と思うほどです簡単に外せるアゴカードを外すと、ラ・ムーな感じのロボット顔がでてきます目は判りづらいですが、４つあります肘は二重関節に見せかけて、下の丸い部分のみが肘です、胴体が二重関節状態です、意味ない感じに素組みだと、ほぼ一色のためすごく安っぽいです全塗装推奨です、素組み派の方にはあまりお勧めできませんですが、デザインが優れているため、サイケでサイコな色合いでなければ、どんな塗装でも映えると思います写真のように剥げさすもよし、フォーミュラーのようにテカテカにするもよし私はつや消しイエローメインで重工業っぽくしてます今度、影虎とかいう腕に装甲の追加しただけのようなのが出るそうです素組み派はそちらを購入することをお勧めします黒いから、つや消しだけでいいんじゃないのかな？個人的には好きなデザインだけど、出来れば素体を生かしたシリーズに戻ってほしいなぁもしくは、新しい素体を作ってのシリーズとかフレームないと、ね？

フレームアームズシリーズでは前代未聞？のフレームアーキテクトをほとんど使わない機体。立ち位置としては同シリーズの『グライフェン』に近いイメージ。デザインとしてはアーキテクトの制約がない分、既存の機体とは一線を画すもので、可動も癖はあるものの全体的に良好。むしろアーキテクトには出来なかった腰の左右スイングが出来たり、首が軸二本とボールの三重間接だったり、場所によっては装甲なしのアーキテクト以上の可動範囲！付属品は刀型の武器が一振りと、組み換えでハンドガン/ライフル/キャノンになる火器が二つ。センサーパーツやマガジン？などが細かく組み替えられて、MSGウェポンユニットの『フリースタイル・ガン』のような武器です。様々な装備パターンに出来てプレイバリューも高いのですが、残念なのはライフル系のパーツはほぼすべてモナカ割りだということ。（なぜか1パーツだけ段落ちモールドになっている）全体的にプラモデルとしての満足度は高いものの、アーキテクトをほぼ使用しなかったり、『フレームアームズ』として見るとやや疑問が残るところが気になったので星四つとさせて頂きました。

箇条書きで失礼します。※腕は二重関節に見せた一重関節です。正面から見ると頭と肩が大きいためかなり不恰好に見えます。また、msgブルパップライフルはそのままでは持てません。
