Amazing Grass Brain Elixir, Greens and Adaptogens Organic Powder, 10ct Packet

So I'll start this by saying that I like Amazing Grass's products and I already know and accept that unless blended into a smoothie with a frozen banana, they don't taste good. I've come to enjoy the taste of most varieties when prepared this way, though, and I was excited to see this new formula.Well, I did notice a distinct improvement in my mental clarity the mornings that I've used this formula. However, this one tastes particularly offensive, even compared to the other formulas. So my advice is, if you like Amazing Grass products, give it a try, just be prepared for a not- pleasant taste. The ingredients are great and it's worth it to me.

Let's be honest, we don't drink Amazing Grass for the taste, and this Brain Elixir tastes as though it was transported straight from the bowels of hell. That aside, I have found that putting the powder in any kind of sweetened drink then pretending it's a shot of whiskey, and chugging it helps. I follow that with something delicious, like a vial of unicorn tears, or whatever also helps. Unfortunately, if any of you reading are like me, and must burp after chugging, well, there's the taste on top of those unicorn tears, but the benefits outweigh not using this stuff.For me, it helps migraine headaches ease off a little. I'll take it. :)

Love the way this makes me feel, hate the taste. I usually try to add it to a spinach smoothie and load up on the fruit so it doesn't taste as bad.

I know Amazing Grass uses quality ingredients. However, it's really hard to drink some of their constituted powders. For example, the Watermelon Energy one is good. The Alkaline one tastes like your licking moss covered river rocks (don't ask...). This "Brain Elixir" powder has a horrible after taste, like I threw-up in my mouth. You know, that lovely bile taste...I've tried adding a bunch of ice to the shaker & then chugging the drink, aiming for the back of my tongue, to try to fool my taste buds. It "kinda" worked like how putting a fork in an outlet "kinda" gives your body a tingle. (BTW - Don't try that at home kids.) I'm all for healthy products, esp. one which fuel my brain, but 1) I won't be finishing this box & 2) I will be donating this at work in case I have a coworker who lost their taste buds in a tragic hot cocoa accident. Such a waste of money.

I have found the Brain Elixir to be truly helpful before I study/work. I've tried to make the taste more bearable by adding Vital Proteins Collagen Creamer to it - that helps a bit!

I really wanted to like this but it’s the worst tasting supplement powder I have ever had. It smells and tastes like vomit and I almost threw up twice trying to choke it down. Not. Worth. It.

I can usually deal with the 'green taste of things for the health benefits but this stuff was absolutely not consumable for me. Next time I will find these good ingredients in pill form!
