Impact Fresnel Spot S-Mount Attachment (10-40°)

Photo is in comparison to Adorama $40 CLAR Fresnel Lens Mount Pro (Lenticular Lens) which is not a true glass fresnel lens but still a better option if you only buy 1 modifier. This lens is a glass fresnel so the rings show slightly in lower light settings and with no barn doors the light falls off rather slowly compared to traditional hot lights. The light quality is decent with it and probably best suited for hair or background rather than key. The gels are a nice touch but as others have said difficult to get in and out and limited colors. The char has a much faster fall off and no banding or distortion in the light. It also has a longer zoom range and is better suited for the key light imo. I’m shooting 40s style Hollywood glamour using Godox sl100bis in studio. Both are good and I’ll keep this unit.

This fits fairly well on my Godox MS300 - with one caveat - screwed all the way in, it hits the modeling bulb. There's still plenty of room but you have to be careful. I was surprised that the fresnel lens itself is glass. The barrel is plastic but it's a tough plastic. One more warning: this gets hot as hell. But if you want fresnel lifhting you're ging to have to deal with some heat.

works exceptionally well. I use it with a 60W LED video light, and it just does the job I need it to do. I also like that it comes with color gels, that was a plus. I definitely recommend this.

just got this in today so I can begin my Silver Starlet Photo Project for 2019.... The build quality is plastic but its pretty stout, it doesn't feel cheap. It's bowens mount which is a plus IMO. The photograph I posted here is untouched, simply converted from raw to JPEG with no adjustments. Definitely will be purchasing a few more for multi-light setups.

Super impressed with the quality of these. 10 out of 10 would recommend to people who like to play with light, I wish they had a wider range of Gels, or there was an easy way to make your own with an empty form.

Good product the only downfall is that when you put the color gels in , It is hard to get them out. The locking mechanism is not great. Aside from that it’s worth it!

Great but for the money. Wish it focused the light to a tighter radius but does the job. When stewed into is largest position, it puts off a lot of heat and kills my continuous lamp, but still flashes. A slight half turn will allow the heat to escape and resolve this problem. Snug fit, filters are a nice plus.
