EXCELLENT! and smells so nice!
Finally, a shampoo that actually moisturizes my bleached and dyed hair! Does not weigh down my medium/fine hair, either, with the moisture. No bottle leaking, great product, smells wonderful, makes my hair soft. 1010, could not recommend more, y'all.

Smells great!
I love this shampoo and it smells great. It was recommended to me by my hair stylist and I’m now on my second bottle. I can go three days between washes and since using I’ve noticed less breakage in my hair and it’s so smooth! I have fine thin, blonde colored hair. I’ve noticed it doesn’t dull my blonde. A little bit goes a long way and the bottle lasts longer than you’d think.

More upscale product but not sure if works any better than other salon style shampoos.
Light shampoo. Doesn't weigh down your hair. Pleasant smell. Expensive . Doesn't prevent frizzies but improves body.

Love It—A Little Goes a Long Way
The shampoo and conditioner are both super hydrating. The shampoo is a little dense, so I would use a dime sized amount to wash my hair twice. The conditioner is lighter in terms of weight than the shampoo. I can instantly feel the moisturizing effect as I apply the conditioner to the ends of my hair. The fragrance of the shampoo and conditioner is sweet and can be a little intense at first but after multiple uses, the fragrance is pleasant and not overwhelming. I can go about three days without washing my hair and my hair still smells good.Good to see there are no harsh sulfates or other added chemicals that create too much or unnecessary lather. There is some lather when you rub it in your hands first before applying to your scalp—which is nice feedback to know that it’s working.I did not experience much hair loss at first use, but after using it a while, I did experience an average amount of hair loss but not too much so it is normal and not concerning. My hair feels clean and fresh after every wash so it is highly effective and worth spending a few dollars more for quality. Overall, a little bit goes a long way.

Nice shampoo
This shampoo is pretty good. It makes my hair fluffier than I would like, and, I am allergic to it!The flowery smell is too much and I stuff up and sneeze :(

I am ADDICTED
The salon my hair stylist works for uses strictly Amika products. I had never seen the brand before switching to my new stylist, but I’m so so glad I’ve discovered it. I had been cycling thru a few different shampoo/conditioners due to scalp psoriasis & oily hair, but couldn’t really find one that tackled all of my problems. That is, until I started using Amika!Pros:- a little goes a long way (I shampoo twice and I def use less product w/ Amika compared to other brands)- it hydrates my hair without making it heavy- I’m able to go more days between washes as my scalp doesn’t get as oily as quickly- no more flakes!!- no itchiness or redness- smells AMAZING- makes my hair super shiny and soft- the ingredients are clean compared to other brandsCons:- price (worth it in my opinion, but if it’s a little too much for you, Amika has a sister brand called Eva NYC that’s available in target)- the large bottles are a bit hard to work with due to it not coming with a pump nor a squirt top. I personally refill some plain pump bottles I got off Amazon, but it can definitely get messy.Overall an 11/10

LOVE
Why did you pick this product vs others?:this shampoo is AMAZING to say the least. i have very thick slightly long hair and use about 2 quarters worth of shampoo per wash ( i shampoo my hair twice every time i shower, so technically 4 quarters worth ). and it lasted me 3 months. smells great and leaves my hair smelling great for a couple days as if i got it washed in the salon. i definitely didn’t love the smell at first but it grew on me and i can’t get enough of it.Greasiness:i get greasy hair SO easily and it keeps my hair good for 3 days

Shampoo and Conditioner not great
Loved this shampoo at first, but after using it for the pasted seven months since July 2024 now not so much and here’s why:One it’s not valued for your money:I live in Pullman Washington which is very hot in the summer and spring time, which is why I got this shampoo and conditioner cause I got worried about my hair getting damaged from the massive heat. So I got the 64oz shampoo and conditioner in hopes of the product will be valued for my money, now I have a receding hairline after seven months of using the product; which is very disappointing I still have the full thickness of my hair but if I keep using this shampoo product my hair will probably most likely be thinning by the time next winter will arrive in 2025.Two shampoo quality is okay but not the greatest:First wash is wonderful I get the hair softness it needs eventually after the first wash, day three my hair doesn’t feel like it’s getting the nutrients it needs and I try to wash my hair every two to three days. Moisture level is great for the first day, but like I said I feel like my hair isn’t getting the nutrients it needs maybe it’s because I’ve been using it throughout the winter. Day three of not washing my hair, my hair feels: dry, dull, a receding hairline, which I’m not happy about to say the very least. My hair doesn’t get oily in the winter time, yet in the summer/spring time it does it get oily due to the hot weather in Pullman Washington. If you do live somewhere where it has all four seasons, I’d suggest you to use this product for the massive hot summer/spring time and if it’s fall/winter I’d recommend to switch it up for the winter months till it feels warmer outside. Most of all I’d rate this product 3.5 stars which is very disappointing, because I had high hopes for this product and maybe it’s because I need to switch it up for a different Amika product or a different hair brand. I hope this review helps in making your decision for your hair!
