These kill flies and other insects brilliantly, I have one in every room (the dog doesn't seem to be affected at all) and I come down to lots flies to clean up of the floor or off windowsills, so I know it works! Long lasting, lasts at least three months.

After opening the smell of citronella disappeared within 48 hours and had very little affect on any flies during the warm weather. Placed right next to the door which was frequently opened for the dogs to go in and out and yet every time a family of flies made their way in and weren't even phased by the "deterrent". It kept falling over as well due to it being lightweight, thin and narrow so had to prop it up against the wall. Save your money, get a zapper instead.

Bought these for my kitchen area, as they are odourless, they do work, but they need careful placement to be effective, as my kitchen is fairly large 10x12 ft I needed two of them, a tip here is to place them away from any windows, and if you open the windows they become ineffective.

These items don’t seem to work very well at all. I was hoping for a lot more from them, but you live and learn. I won’t be buying them again

cannot believe how well they work. It is so nice to go to the bathroom without being dive bombed by flies. Buying more to use in our motor home!

Does not seem to be effective. No smell, but in a very hot day with a lot of flies around in the Kitchen, did not seem to make any difference. Not buying again.

Useless? I am not sure how they are supposed to even work?…I guess I shouldn’t be surprised after reading the reviews but as they were mixed sometimes you just have to find out for yourself don’t you?Someone mentioned the date slider and yes what is all that about?…Waste of time and effort. It serves no purpose. Says it is effective up to 30m. Not true. My kitchen is tiny and I currently have 3 flys buzzing around the so called zapper?Do not waste your money!
