UpwardBackwash Hose Eco Pool Drain Fountain Kit for Sand and Cartridge Filtration Systems, Not for DE Filtration Systems

The Eco Pool Drain “Fountain” is amazing! I got it in the mail after I ordered it from Amazon.I included a bunch of images of the box it came in, the packaging, and the process of setting it up so you can see the entire setup.As you can see in the images, the box is bigger than I expected with my measuring tape, which is a good thing!I originally thought it was going to look like a pool toy that kids would put in the water.But it’s so much stronger and higher quality than I thought it would be! It’s made of some very strong plastic and the hose feels like it will last years.I’ve used it to backwash my pool already, and it is very pressure resistant and funnels the water to lower the level much better than my original back-wash hose did.From the images, you can see that is about 25 inches long, and the ring itself is about 20 inches long.The back wash hose it comes with is over 15 feet long so you can really stretch the distance of where you want to put it.You can choose what size connection the hose is to connect to whatever size your filter is.Also it says it isn’t for DE filters,But it works great for my Sand filtration system and it also says it works for Cartridge systems too.I highly recommend it!I had a regular backwash hose before the Fountain and I really prefer the way this pool drain releases the water without flooding my lawn!Check out my images to see how the package came with directions, 2 clamps to tighten the end of the fountain and the filter end of the hose, and the ecopool drain fountain in my backyard lawn.Definitely a 5 Star product! First of all, shipping confirmation said I would receive the product between August 28-September 8. I received it on August 20 which was an awesome surprise. Tried it out today and wow, I should have bought this months ago. It was super easy to install, I just used my vacuum hose instead of the hose that came with it and it didn’t flood my yard. The kids played in it while it was running and the pressure is not too hard. What a great product. Way easier than hauling 2 heavy hoses across the yard. Highly recommend!

Hi..I really love how simple they made lowering my pool water level! I know it may sound a little strange, but after the service guys open my pool each year,I immediately release about 1000 gallons of old water and add back a 1000 gallons of fresh water. Before I had this, I would just have my pool hose drain on my lawn without the fountain part and all of this water would just flood my yard and ruin everything. Now that I've used the Eco Pool Drain, I was able to witness exactly what the description and pictures show. The fountain rains pool water on my grass. All I had to do was watch the Eco Pool Drain do the entire job for me. Great idea, worked at first but lately if gets shot Off of the hose. Connection control ld be more secure. Holes could also be bigger to relieve some of the pressure

I watched my friend drain her pool watering her plants and lawn instead of washing the precious $$ water down the sewer. In California we just don't have that luxury. The amount of chemicals in the pool doesn't hurt the plants surprisingly and is environmentally friendly. I had to get one for myself. Once I got the hose hooked up to my pool pump, I invited my friend over for evening cocktails-PLUS. I got a little creative and put my floating LED pool light in the middle of the spraying part and viola. It looked like a fountain at Disneyland! It was beautiful and I saved on my water bill in the process.
