Sylvia Browne's Book of Dreams

Finally not a dream dictionary, but an actual book on different types of psychic dreams!
The exact type of book I was looking for that I couldn't find! It's not a dream dictionary primarily (although it does have a section dedicated to that) it describes the different TYPES of psychic dreams and dreams in general, how to distinguish them, and how to pull your PERSONAL meaning out vs. a dream dictionary that tells you a symbol has to have the same meaning for everyone.

dream land....wow
You know this book makes you think back about every dream you can remember having lately or even some that have been very memorable and if you can just try to not guess at every dream you have had by what the 5 dream states mean in here you may be able to answer a few questions. Now i myself have had many dreams that i thought were wish dreams and then realized after examing the book that i think were probably release dreams or maybe something else. I know that this book will not give me all the answers so if that is what you are looking for don't read it. It just helps you to go deeper inside yourself and gives you little things to do to help you if your really interested in delving deeper into this dream thing. It is totally up to each individual. If your not the type to really believe in how dreams can give you answers to your problems or be a part of that other world then don't bother buying a copy. For those of you who are new to this then it is the perfect book. She simplifies and breaks things down for you to understand your dreams and believe me i have been into this Sylvia browne thing for a while but i can't even begin to try to understand my own self and my dreams so this book has been a great teaching tool for me. Made me realize how i have been taking alot of my dreams for granted and maybe, just maybe now i can have some great adventures...

A New Perspective on Dream Analysis
While most dream books focus on the symbolism within the dreams, Sylvia focuses more on the different types of dreams, offering a fresh perspective on dream analysis. According to Ms. Browne, there are five different types of dreams. Release, Wish, Information, Prophetic, and Astral Travel. Within each section, she not only explains what the category means, but also provides examples for them. One of the last chapters of the book contains examples of various dreams submitted by readers, some a combination of two or more categories. While there are tons of books on dream symbolism, this is the first book I've come across that actually helps you to categorize the dream. Since dreams are mostly symbolic in nature and very personal, thereby, a bit cryptic, being able to categorize the dream first is a BIG help in deciphering it.I strongly recommend this book as part of further studies in dream analysis, including Carl Jung's 'Man and His Symbols'

Great book
I will make this fast. This was my first Sylvia Browne Book and it had me hooked. I was excited every chance that i got to read it. It opened a few things up about dreams that i've had for years and some i've had as a child. She does not give you direct interpretation of every thing you dream but makes you find your own meaning after all we are all different. Boy some things that she stated hit me pretty hard, how i could have missed that myself. It really helped me see what my mind was telling me subconsciously in my dreams ~ and what i need to do to fix that. Now when people ask me what their dreams mean it's still hard to interpret them but it has become somewhat easier.

Dream...dream...dream....!
No, this book doesn't put you to sleep..! Sylvia discusses various forms of dreams and how they effect our lives and also how we can deal with them. Various forms from lurid, astral to prophetic Sylvia has examined and answered a multiple of questions from people over the years asking about dreams. Her ability to look in to the information and decipher the meaning was Sylvia at her best. I liked her subject dealing with deceased loved ones coming into communication during our sleep which is very fulfilling and informative. Like all of Sylvia's work this book is very well done and enjoyable to read. I always find out more about myself when I read her books and look forward to further publications from her!
