Sturdy and smart , good value for the money - however my silver fittings weren’t included in the box so I had to purchase them elsewhere

Description misleading
Expected this to come as one piece instead of two, instructions pretty useless, the fittings could have been better designed as the carpenter I employed to install it had to improvise in joining the two parts together. The result however was worth. It would be appreciated for sellers for to be accurate in their descriptions of their products instead of the misleading statements outlining benefits which usually are untrue and too often found on their websites

POOR HANDRAIL
THE HANDRAIL WAS NOT FINISHED OFF AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. NOT COMPLETELY ROUNDEDTHE END CAPS WERE SHARP AND I ACTUALLY CUT MY FINGER ON ONE OF THEM WHEN COMING DOWN THE STAIR AS THE CAPS WERE NOT A GOOD FITTING, WE HAVE NOW REMOVED THE CAPS COMPLETELYTHIS RAIL WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED BUT WE WERE DESPARATE TO GET SOME SUPPORT ON THE STAIRWAY DUE TO FAMILY WHO NEEDED TO HAVE SOMETHING TO AID THEIR CLIMB UP THE STAIRSWE WILL BE REPLACING THIS IN THE NEAR FUTURE, AND WILL JUST HAVE TO STAND THE COST OF THISTERRIBLE HANDRAIL i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HANDRAIL AT ALL

Wooden handrail careful sharp rail ends new end caps to be produced by mid August
Purchased as needed to help move up and downstairs. The description does say enhances safety and providing comfortable and firm handle however when the handrail was installed today it was brought to my attention how sharp the end parts were and they were removed for my safety. The reason being they are sharp and could easily cause an injury. As people may think of purchasing for an elderly relative (or if you have young children) please take note of the sharpness especially if they are on warfarin. I have received confirmation from the seller that their production staff is currently improving the end caps. It is expected that suitable end caps will be produced by mid-August.
