Authentic Lismore
I was a little nervous about buying Waterford crystal on Amazon at discounted prices from brick and mortar retail shops. My family has a considerable collection of the Lismore so I needed the glasses to be authentic Waterford Lismore. Additionally, this particular purchase was for a gift to my in-laws, so I wanted it in the beautiful retail packaging it comes in when you buy it at the store. I was not disappointed. We opened them to check out the quality. They arrived in the Waterford box, with the Waterford-marked tissue paper, and since I already own this exact glass myself, we were able to compare them - Perfect match!

Drinks just taste better in Waterford glasses
These glasses came in great shape, and in a nice box for storage and protection. No imperfections. Do yourself a favor and get the Double Old-Fashioned size rather than just the Old Fashioned.

These glasses are quite lovely and don't seem inferior to any of the Waterford I already own. They were delivered well before the expected date. No complaints at all.

Chipped
I unboxed these and at first glance looked great, so I threw away the boxes and put them in the cabinet with my others. The very next day I pulled them out to make a couple of drinks and they’re both chipped along the rims in multiple places.

Lead Free Crystal Will Never Looks As Good As Real Crystal
I have always know the name Waterford for crystal and wondered why these glasses were so much more expensive compared to all the other (fake) crystal on Amazon. Well after a little research I learned that crystal is leaded glass; there's no way around it. Lead-free crystal, is just glass. I also quickly learned no regular glass will ever have the appearance of real crystal since it's the lead that helps straighten the molecules within the glass to give it it's brilliant appearance. And these things are brilliant. They have a fantastic weight to them and look amazing, especially under a little light. Since they're leaded I wouldn't recommend these as daily use glasses, but as a cocktail glass that's used for special occasions, etc. all the research I've seen is that they're safe. The only reason I'm deducting one star is because one of the glasses had a small bubble in the base. Not a huge deal, but seeing as these glasses are so much more expensive than anything else, and the fact that Waterford prides themselves on having perfect crystal I'm knocking off one star.

Waterford Lismore is just gorgeous!
Waterford Lismore is a beautiful crystal, and the 12 oz. Old Fashioned glasses are a lovely addition to my nephew's crystal collection of Lismore. I highly recommend this beautiful glassware.

Tape all over the outside of the box... Doesn't come off clean and makes the packaging ugly
It's a gift so I haven't unwrapped the glassware yet but I was appalled at the amount of tape on the box for this product. I tried to peel it off as gently as possible but the box looks terrible because pieces of it ripped off with the tape. This is suppose to be a high end product and I'm going to embarrassed about the damaged box when my giftee unwraps it.

Better to purchase directly from the manufacture
I purchased these glasses to replace one from my set that was accidentally chipped. My original set was purchased directly from Waterford Crystal in Ireland. These are made in Slovenia. When I compare my originals to these, the cut glass pattern is different. I cannot say if these are truly Waterford Crystal. Needless to say I am skeptical that they are authentic. My bad for not going back to Waterford to purchase.Plus Amazon's packing material to protect the glasses was beyond minimal... there was zero packing material... let me restate... there was NO, NO packing material. I am amazed that the glasses did not arrive in a million pieces.
