Had surgery a few days ago and sitting was unbearable. I ordered this and it was a life saver. It is vacuum sealed and hard when you first open it up. I walked away for a few minutes and it expanded and softened up in that short amount of time. I was happy to see that this also helps with sciatica so I can continue to use it after I recover.

I HAD TO ORDER THIS BECAUSE I HAVE CANCER AND I NEED SOMETHING TO SIT ON BECAUSE I READ ON MY BED IT'S VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO SIT STRAIGHT UP! MY DOCTOR SUGGESTED THAT ORDER THIS AND SAID ON MY BED AND READ AND WATCH TV... I GOT IT FRIDAY AND I'M STILL SITTING ON IT... IS NOT REALLY COMFORTABLE TO SIT ON THE BED WITH IT .IT'S DEFINITELY HARD AS A ROCK ONCE I GET USED TO IT AND IT GETS A LITTLE SOFTER . MAYBE IT WILL BE MORE COMFORTABLE. BUT RIGHT NOW IT'S DEFINITELY NOT COMFORTABLE.. CAN'T TELL YOU REALLY WHETHER TO GO OUT AND BUY IT OR NOT BUY IT.. I THINK IT WAS GOING TO BE THIS THICK FROM THE PICTURE.. I'M GOING TO HAVE TO USE IT I DON'T REALLY HAVE NO CHOICE.. GUESS I WOULD RECOMMEND IT IF YOU NEED IT IN A SITUATION LIKE MINE AND YOU COULDN'T STAND TO SIT ON YOUR RECTUM TOO LONG THEN I GUESS YOU NEED THIS PILLOW OR SOMETHING LIKE IT ANYWAY... THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT I REALLY LIKE THAT I SAW. SO HOPEFULLY IT WILL COME OF SOME USE .
