I will start this review by saying I've been dyeing my hair red for over 10 years so I know a thing or two about boxed dyes. In the beginning I tried absolutely every brand under the sun but none of them lasted more then two washes. I finally found one I loved - Garnier Fructisse R3 - and I used it for 8 years but lately I've noticed it's not as red as it used to be. It could just be that my hair is changing as I'm getting older. Who knows. So I've decided to try a new brand and picked this one.Pros - the color is freaking amazing! Beautiful bright red even on my dark roots.Cons (and there's a lot of them)1. It is not easy to use. There is no applicator bottle so I had to mix it in a solo cup. And because of this I had to apply it with my hands and not an easy to use bottle with a point. It does come with a brush but I have loads of hair and it wasn't practical. And because I was applying with my hands the dye got all over my face, neck and arms. More on this later2. When I first applied it to my hair my scalp STUNG so bad I almost had to wash it all off. It was so painful!!! My whole head was on fire plus my ears because dye got on those too. I was so close to giving up but I fought through the pain which lasted about 7ish minutes.3. The dye will stain your skin. Especially along your hair line (see pictures). So don't expect to go out that night. I'd wait till at least one wash. I'd recommend to cover your arms with long sleeves and tighter gloves.4. It will also stain your pillow and hair towel. A LOT. I'm going to the gym later so I'm worried about sweating and it dripping all over my face. It also stained my counter top which I had to use bleach to get rid of. Other products get cleaned with just all purpose cleaner.5. It takes forever to get the dye out of your hair in the shower. I was in there for about 45 minutes when I finally gave up. Again I do have a lot of hair.6. My roots turned it way brighter then the rest of my hair. (see pictures). Not sure how to fix that in the future.If you're ok with all the cons then I'd recommend the following:Cover your area with an entire towel. Paper towels are not enough.Wear long sleeve arm gloves.Don't use the gloves they provide.Buy an applicator bottle to use instead of mixing in a bowl or cup. Or mix first then put it in a bottle.Use two boxes if you have longer hair.Not sure how to prevent the stinging.Try to protect your hair line. I think I read once that putting conditioner along the line will help prevent getting dye on your skin.If this dye washes out in less then 5 washes then I'll post an update. If you don't see an update then that means it's lasting an appropriate amount of time considering the hassle it was to do.In the pictures I posted a picture of my hair before I dyed it. Well, this is my fourth time ordering this, so that should tell you something… it’s a perfect, vibrant, consistent color every time. I love this ammonia free dye so so much, and I will keep ordering until they take it away, and I hope they never do. Of course, it would be better to have a mixing applicator bottle instead of having to mix in a dish, but that’s not a problem for me,I’ve gotten good at it. Oh, and doesn’t fade too fast, in fact the ammonia gross dyes fade much faster.GORGEOUS color every time! I’ve been dying my hair red for 32 years, and I’ve tried so many brands, techniques and shades, and I gotta say, this may actually be my favorite.

I like the color looks great but didn’t realize you had to mix and apply with a brush . I won’t order again it was to hard for me to apply .

This is the second time buying this hair color. I love how red it is. It does burn after putting it on but the burning feeling goes away after 5 mins. It does tend to stain your scalp and skin, so be careful. It didn’t last to long in my hair probably 3 weeks or so. Overall I give it 4 stars .

I mixed together a box of Nisha Copper with a box of Natural Instincts’ Copper Sunset, and I’m happy with the results (don’t mix Nisha with any other dyes containing ammonia, btw.) I’ve included pictures with and without flash. It bleeds a lot, but that’s to be expected with a bold red color. Rub any stained skin with petroleum jelly to get the color off easier.

Bright red color on dark hair with no bleaching. Color does bleed a lot though.

I have dark brown hair and I didn't have to bleach it to get the color I wanted. It's bright and vivid and came out beautifully! I absolutely love this product.

I am obsessed with this color. However, the only negative I have to say is that after putting it in my hair and rinsing etc. Well, when I wet my hair in the shower it keeps running for a very long time it takes about 2 weeks before the color stops running while in the shower. The only bad thing about the color...But I LOVE IT.

Awesome product,easy to use at home

I am writing review after having colored my hair for 2-3 months.Product is good but after every wash, colour fades. I had already bleached and coloured my hair before and it turned out well. I even loved fading because my old colour and new color combined to give beautiful effect. Now, l don't have residue of red left in my hair. It is semi- permanent then semi-permanent colour. Overall good experience, would buy again after finishing the combo. Would now add to burgundy to give wine colour effect.😅

This is the perfect RED I have been looking for in the longest time. the price of the product made me hesitate before buying it but i love the result. Just one warning washing this out after it is applied is a little bit of a trouble but the result will make you feel that it was all worth the pain.

After you apply, for a month ul see red color coming out of your hair when ever u taking shower. Not a good product at all.
